Lying Prophets

Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.
Jer 14:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.
Jer 14:16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

Isa 8:13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
Isa 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Isa 8:15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
Isa 8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
Isa 8:17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
Isa 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
Isa 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.


Isa 30:8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
Isa 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
Isa 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
Isa 30:11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
Isa 30:12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
Isa 30:13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
Isa 30:14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.

Jeremiah 5:30-31

Praise God for His word. “How did the Spirit of the LORD pass from me to speak to you?” Back then the holy Spirit was not in everyone. A false prophet was not always called "false" because they were wrong no no so many times they were right. False being GOD never told them. We know Satan can not tell the future so forth so on yet full of wisdom he can make a better guess then all man put together.

OT NT prophets not the same any more. No prophet today has the right to tell anyone what they should be doing. As with Paul all the prophet did was tell what would happen to the one waring that belt

There are 2 ways to recognize a "false teacher.

These 2.

1.) A False teacher will teach that you can lose your Salvation.

2.) A False teacher will teach that you have to perform WORKS and Keep Commandments to be saved and to stay saved.

So, when you are listening to someone who seems to be teaching, notice if they teach those 2 cult heresies.
If so, you have discovered a devil deceived person, who may be born again, but may not be.

Do not listen to them, as they will try to destroy your faith in Christ.

You have to keep the commandments, please read the words, of jesus, the son of GOD, the messiah! I think you know your way about scriptures, it's the words marked in red! you also need to read Deuteronomy!, all of it! Seriously!
