It's odd that atheists claim that they don't believe in God because there is no substantial proof. Yet, these same atheists wholeheartedly believe in aliens from outer space, with no proof. Go figure. Maybe they just have an aversion, dislike for the idea of God.

One of today's most militant and influential atheists is Richard Dawkins. Here is an interesting video of him proclaiming that aliens created life on earth: Richard Dawkins believes extraterrestrials created man! - YouTube

With millions of followers.
Yeah but not everyone in the atheist community agrees with everything he says.
Like he made some controversial comments about transgender people that a lot of people in The atheist community disagreed with.
Atheist don't agree on everything just like Christians don't agree on everything.
Also what he said was taken out of context. What he said was maybe there's some intelligence out there that managed to create some type of self-replicating molecule
Not that they literally came here and created humans
Personally I believe it's a mathematical probability that life is out there somewhere but the problem is going to be distance. You couldn't live long enough to travel that far

"The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God'". The obvious question is, who created the aliens? Many resent the idea that they have to account for their lives before a holy and righteous God. Their consciences testify that there is a God. So they must find a way to silence their conscience. So they walk the wide path to destruction, ignoring every warning that God gives and every word that God has spoken. Destructive weather? Blame global warming. Terrible diseases? Find a cure. Never require people to change their behaviour! The rich profit at the expense of the poor. God hates that. God's judgement is revealed but few take notice.

That's true, and I did not say otherwise ;) Still, many believe that aliens exist, and some attribute
the origins of life on earth to them. Where this idea originated I cannot say. But it has to be better
than the sheer inanity of Hawking''s statement that all of creation could have come from nothing.
Infinite regress does not really satisfy as an answer, either, since there is still a need for a primal cause.

Looking at the world around me, I feel surrounded by aliens. Thank God for the protection he provides me. Psalms 23.

Let's do the math. It's been calculated that there's approximately a one in a trillion chance of a planet meeting the conditions to sustain life
There are approximately a septillion planets just in our observable universe so it's mathematically likely that life is probably out there somewhere.
The problem is as I mentioned earlier you can't live long enough to travel that far so we will never see them and they will never see us

So atheists believe in a kind of intelligent design, then. In effect, they must admit that if humans were created by aliens (they weren’t) then the aliens could have been created by someone, and their creators created by someone, traced all the way back to God. They try to sound all smart, but only reveal half-baked ideas that only refute their own position(s).

When Jodie Foster's character as a child would ask her father if there was life "out there"
(paraphrasing), he would tell her that if there wasn't, it was an awful waste of space :giggle:

This is a favorite sci fi topic as well, even us seeding other planets due to our lack of care for the one we are on.
In fact just last night I watched one I'd seen before with Nicholas Cage playing the dad of a child who was chosen
to be one of the ones to seed such a new planet when Earth was going to be destroyed by a solar flare.

The real question is, is there a Creator God, or not? It seems an inescapable conclusion
that people who attribute such things to aliens are denying the existence of God.
Even though or when they accept that "intelligent design" is a reality.
But instead of "God did it," their answer is, "Aliens did it."

Atheists are an interesting group. I talk with a lot of them.
They know a lot of scripture too.

I wish we had more of them here but sometimes Christians aren“t very welcoming. We had an agnostic here and he was banned after a couple of days.

While not having all the evidence needed to prove their position, they believe something to be true. Definitionally, that is faith. But, consider the absurdity of their faith: The universe created itself from nothing before it existed. That is more faith than I have, that is for sure.

"Atheists", for the most part appear to be nothing more than common-run of the mill "Agnostics".

Romans 1 indicates that the "awareness of God" is built into humans, who then do their best to SUPPRESS that knowledge, and deny it.

What "World View Stupidity" unregenerate people choose to believe / argue about is totally unimportant, AND the Holy Spirit, when He brings Conviction of SIN and of Judgement, can "BLOW IT ALL AWAY" in a millisecond, when he's drawing a person to Christ.

Jesus will blow it away, but it's not unimportant. It must be confronted and challenged if we are to point people to the Truth.

If it was unimportant, Jesus would not need to blow it away. It must be confronted and challenged if we are to point people to the Truth.
SO - go ahead and "Point people to the truth". Nobody's stopping you.

I've known different kinds of atheists as well. A lot of them are arrogant, but some of them are respectful.
