Loneliness And Sin

Christians always give the same suggestions. Pray more, Read The Bible more. Then you run into those Christians who got some strange theology, that they think they understand the spiritual realm. You listen to these people, and it's like, where do you get this from the Bible? That is why I don't listen to those kinds of people.

I ask all kinds of stuff, and I always get silence. So it doesn't matter.

I think Derek Prince has extra biblical ideas, that are not found in scripture.

I recently wrote a new blog called: "I Don't Hear From God." All of you can read it, once it gets approved.

I once read the Bondage Breaker which has similar ideas that Derek has. Did it help me? No!

Then you are not desperate enough. Why would I want to read that you don't hear from God? I gave you your answer...you don't want it.

I don't know what your talking about! I have heard Derek Prince before!

If we really love the Lord we would hate the sin and please Him.

I really can identify with you with the sin of lust and all that brings. But to my amazement I have overcome that life long sin. It seems to me it was me that took that long to give it up. But after I commited to doing that God stepped in. I found great pleasure in His company when I was tempted. The pleasure of His company was in fact so pleasureable that I looked forward to being temted so I could experience the pleasure of Him helping me out every time. I found that I loved Him far more than I loved the sin.

Sometimes I am lonely but I am lonely in the company of other Christians. I have a Christian friend or two but on the most part it seems like I know other Christians are in a different place. My struggle is to remember that I am part of the body of Christ and to serve it. It can't be me and He! I expect that is not His wish either. Probably atrophy rather than grow, and maybe even go backwards?

He did say to me "Are you going to take the things I gave you (the knowlege I realy love Him and He loves me) and use it selfishly" and also "I love them as much as I love you" I take that to mean I am no one special, but maybe I can be of service to Him.

My tendancey is because of the pain of dealing with other Christians is the opposite of yours, its that I would want to be completely alone without anyone else, alone without disruption to worship Him and to love Him and receive His love.
