Hi there from Australia!

Hi there, I've just joined Christian Chat to spread my wings a bit and meet some new friends. I am a 53 yo teacher and committed SDA christian. Love talking about all things spiritual and also am interested in supporting those who are going through marriage break-ups as this happened to me six years ago and I actually think I have something to give in this area, especially for those who have been betrayed. I enjoy the love of life and laugh alot these days. Hope to meet you soon

Karol, you live in a most beautiful country. During our first trip we circled Australia staying next to the water. That took us 3 months. My favorite city is Melbourne. Heron Island is heaven. And then there is the view of Perth and the Swan River from Kings Park. So beautiful. We all need to count our blessings everyday!

Most of our time we lived with the people in the Outback. They are rather rough people . The weather, the elements and the never ending work make them that way. But they have hearts of gold. Yes!

Karol, we do look forward to hearing from you. Look through the Christian Family and the Miscellaneous Forums to join an interesting thread or start your own thread perhaps by asking a question. Encouragement is so important for all of us.

Oh lovely Isny. I worked in the outback for many years and you are right - they do have a heart of gold. Am so glad you got to tour Australia. One day I would like to finish off America as I have done only the West coast in a couple of trips. Ah, if we all had limitless funds to just swan around the world LOL.

Ha ha. Yes Steve Irwin was one of a kind. His zoo is about two hours from where I live. Wonderful place and his kids are lovely. I've met both.

They seem like an wonderful family.
I'm glad they are still able to bring joy to people's lives.
That Appalachian video made me think of them, funny enough.

Oh, are you Kiwi? My daughter is in Canada doing summer camps and is with a whole bunch of NZers. She says it makes her feel like home LOL.

Thats so cool, I used to live in Canada too. I bet she will have lots of fun there, the scenery and wildlife are worth it alone! Yes Im a kiwi, I been to Aus many times and have family there
