This isn't surprising. Dollar's old material on tithing and prosperity must not be selling anymore so he has to find a new angle. Another "repentance" without actual repentance.

Maybe he'll change his name to Creflo Penny.

That was an interesting video. What bad reasoning for Dollar to indicate that he wouldn’t apologize because his false teaching helped lead him to this new discovery! I wonder if he is familiar with the saying, “The end justifies the means”?

One other thing I found perplexing in the video occurs around 32:51 when Peters says of Jesus: “He bore the wrath of God, died on the cross, three days later bodily raised from the dead, proving himself to be who he said he was: God in human flesh.”

The first three parts I find clearly stated in scripture, but I can’t find the last part Peters mentions concerning Jesus saying, “I am God in human flesh.” Perhaps you or someone else can help me find this statement from Jesus.

That's something I too could hardly believe.

It's there, keep looking. But it's a subject for another thread; perhaps you could start one.

One thing about this that really bothered me is: If Dollar now says he's been teaching false doctrine all those years, what's he going to do with all the money he's made off of it? Is he going to attempt to make reparations? What are the people he's bamboozled supposed to think: For years he's been lying to us and now we're just supposed to say all is well, don't worry about it? I know how I'd feel if I'd been played for a sucker that long.

I suppose that I would take his repentance seriously, that he now believes prosperity preaching is wrong, if he gave all the millions of dollars back to the donors.

And frankly, if we see someone conning people out of millions of dollars, for decade after decade... there is no reason to believe that person is saved.

Zacchaeus gave back 4-fold to anyone he cheated.

"But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, half of my possessions I give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone, I will repay it fourfold.”
Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man too is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

For Creflo, I'll call it even for the amount he stole plus interest. :geek:

After watching the video I expect him to be indicted with some criminal charge involving the mishandling of money. Perhaps some other scandal...

----it amazes me how these critics of certain Ministers ---think that they are all that and they are the ones who are the real Saints ---by picking and choosing parts of the Sermon that suit their agenda to criticise another ----- when the very person in this video -----himself preaches False Doctrine

Justin peters is a Calvinist -----talk about a False Preacher ----teaching False Doctrine -------that God saves some but sends other to hell --------and he has the audacity to criticise another Pastor ----calling them a False Teacher

The Doctrine of Grace alone without Faith and blaming God for sending people to Hell and saving on some people goes against what Scripture says -------this is what Calvinist believe and preach -----All False Theology -----

Justin Peters on Twitter: "Too many of us as Calvinists do not ...
https://twitter.com › justinpetersmin › status

Too many of us as Calvinists do not act like Calvinists.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is the Full Sermon of June 26 from Creflo Dollar Folks ------listen if you dare and see what really was said about Tithing which is explaining about the Old Testament law on Tithing and what the New Testament really says about tithing -------be the JUDGE after listening to the WHOLE SERMON ------not just cherry picking parts of his Sermon to suit your Critical Spirit -------

Sad that people can't get passed the Money to actually hear the real truth of what is being taught -----

Money is Satan's hook to actually keep people from hearing and listening to the person teaching from God's word ------

Preacher Justin Peters needs to pluck the PLANK out of his Calvinist False Doctrine Teachings before he tries to clean up other Preachers ------

Here is the full Sermon -june 26 ---which I know many will refuse to listen to -----they would rather believe Justin Peters the Calvinist ---False interpretation of what this Sermon is really saying ---

I can always tell when an atheist conman is in the pulpit.

Dollar speaker didn't repent of his former tithing scheme.
He just changed the wording.

it's true we don't see any example of tithing being done in the new testament. it's true we find tithing in the "law." but abraham, isaac, and jacob were not of the "law" and more like the new testament, based upon how Jesus explains in john 8. and we see they were faithful tithers. i believe intelligent people use the example of abraham, isaac, and jacob when it comes to tithing.

i wrote that ^ because it does not matter what creflo preaches and teaches. we should know the truth without needing instruction from the pulpit if we are readers of God's Word.

What verses, specifically, in John 8, do you mean?
john 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day; he saw it and was thrilled.”

Jesus said abraham "saw" what Christ represented (the new Gospel, new Covenant) and abraham was thrilled about it.

which the point i am making is abraham knew about the coming Messiah and what He would do and represent. abraham was living in his time like it was in the future.

I see your point, but the fact remains—the New Testament doesn't teach tithing. Your theory attempts to make the New Testament say something it doesn't say.

Jesus told his Disciples to leave their purse at home when they journeyed to deliver his good news.
That those whom it was delivered, let them feed and sustain those Disciples on their journey.

no, my theory is that we are not under the "law" nor was abraham, isaac, and jacob, and they still gave a tenth faithfully.

we know reading the Word of God opens our minds to understanding.
we know praying faithfully leads to our own needs being answered.
it should be the same if we choose to tithe. God blesses and gives us more abundance. and we see this through abraham, isaac, and jacob.

Praise God Justin Peters.. all I will say about that. Now "Creflo Dollar repents of teaching on tithing".. ok if he did or didn't means nothing to me. If he believes hes been teaching wrong praise God. The man does not sin against me. They way Christ gets treated (word of Faith) yeah in truth how we treat each other we are really treating Christ.. we don't like that yet its true. We tend to love those that preach believe like us. Yet since we can't see the heart and are to love each other as Christ loves us. We know He loves us since He never condemns us nor says a word when we get it wrong. We can do the same thing wrong every day and wow He makes sure we know He loves us...that right there has such a impact on us we repent. Yet we do not treat those that look different believe different as in doctrines that do not touch Christ as in salvation. Like Peters I disagree with the man but he loves Jesus Christ.. nothing else to say but.. in cases like this hes in the wrong.

Chris told a Church you are blind and naked this is how some are today. They believe they can see yet they are really blind. What does love see and when does love point out faults? What all this was posted because we love this man and believe hes in error so we did this to gather to pray as one because we truly love him? no some is just gossip since if we really cared we could just reach out to them and try to talk to them. Not here to offend but.. when such great mercy is shown to you.. to NOT do the same.. there is a great cost a price .. So I will show great mercy and grace and pray for them. No one sins against me lol. If I was in the wrong I would not want my family to talk behind my back and never reach out to me and try to help me.. what kind of love is that? In all my sins faults.. Christ never once gave up or left me nor ever made it public just loved me always no matter how dark it got.. He was always there let me know He loved me in that dark moment. yeah many times it was ONLY Him..no offense

One cannot say "I love Christ", systematically fleece the members of Christ's body, and get credit for loving Christ.

"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?"

Creflo knows what he did and what he is doing. This is another scheme to fleece the people of God.

Best to watch the video. He's repenting of the word, tithe. Not the practice.

Same snake. New verbiage.
Who flies, yes a flying snake, in a $65 million Gulfstream G650 jet. Acquired when he asked his marks, I mean flock, to tithe $300. or more so he could buy it straight cash.

And they did.
