How ironic you would say that in defense of your flat earth belief
Still using the one-liners I see. People who are aware of the extent of God's creation, that is the expanding universe, are not flat earthers. Why would you think people who see beyond your unrealistic version of the world are the ones who believe blindly? That is quite the diversion you offer and of course it could be described as personal in nature.
When people fall back on the you are dumb, ignorant, uneducated, stupid or whatever reason for not believing as someone else does (you in this case), it becomes nothing more than an ad hominem fallacy. People, again you in this case, do this when they reject or criticize another point of view based on their own reasoning and lack of solid evidence of what they say.
People are not all living in the backwoods in caves somewhere and it is more than obvious that 'people' always question or we would not have the flat earth society telling us the earth is surrounded by a giant ice wall, more reminiscent of GOT than anything else.
Your theory holds as much water as a sieve. It leaks nonsense rather than water though.
People who believe the earth is flat (or, at least, that it is not a spinning ball flying through space)
are the people who
have questioned what they have been taught/told and do
not blindly accept it.
Everyone else seems to be happy to believe whatever they are taught/told.
The 'People' you call aware - really are not -
they only think they are. And, if-and-when their eyes are opened to the truth, they will see just how far-and-wide-and-deep the deception really goes...
For those people, cognitive dissonance compels them to resist even the slightest notion that they could be wrong and even the smallest suggestion that they might look into it with some personal research and use
real critical thinking to discern the truth. In effect, they are psychologically
afraid of knowing the truth - because, it would "hurt their pride" to discover that they have been "duped" their entire life.
Those people - since birth - have always believed what they have been taught/told; however, Flat Earth folks - while they were taught/told the same thing as everyone else since birth - have had their eyes opened to the truth about the deception that is rife in all of our lives since birth.
After the Bible - this is one of the most true statements that I can attest to out of the knowledge and experience of my life:
"Truth is available only to those who have the courage to question whatever they have been taught." - (Author Unknown)

It is
never my intent to call anyone dumb, ignorant, stupid, etc. for believing differently than I do. I respect their right to believe whatever they wish.
If I "criticize" a different view - I am doing so concerning the view and not the person who holds that view. There is a difference - don't get 'em mixed up... 
You should
never trust the
Flat Earth Society - it is 'controlled opposition' - and, will only confuse you concerning Flat Earth.
