Do you maintain your salvation
Hebrews
2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let [them] slip.
2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him];

is Jesus’ sinless life, death and Resurrection good enough to keep you saved?
Yes it is. There is salvation in no other.

Snacks, you need a lesson in what it means BIBLICALLY to hate and to love: Leviticus 19:17 KJV says showing hate to another is when we fail to rebuke them in their error. Conversely, a stern rebuke of a brother in his error is a Biblical act of Godly love. Now that you're equipped with proper knowledge of what is Biblical love and hate, please stop with your foolishness, OK?

If I truly hated the OSAS crowd, I'd keep quiet and let them continue on down the path of perdition and straight into hellfire and grab a bag of popcorn as they go up in flames...understand?
I never said anything about hatred. 😉

I believe in a day of rest though not necessarily Saturday. Especially for people in jobs like police officers, emergency personnel ( dispatchers and medical) and doctors, there is need for people to be working everyday.
Sure, there are exceptions like health care, police, military, ox in a ditch, etc., but we still must respect the commandment to rest on the seventh day because the Ten Commandments are just as binding today than since long before Abraham, who "kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws".

Adam and Eve knew better than to dishonor God by making the serpent's authority above God's, look upon the fruit as beautiful edible idol able to make one wise, steal it from the God's Tree, etc., Cain knew better than to kill, Rachel knew better than to steal from Laban, Joseph called adultery "sin", Abraham knew not to lie about Sarah, and even Satan "sinned" in heaven, sin being "the transgression of the law". So, yes, the Ten Commandments existed long before Exodus 16 and 20 and continue to exist today because while we can ignore circumcision, Passover, and every other ceremonial law of the Mosaic Law, it will always be wrong to kill, lie, steal, make other gods in place of God, etc. The same Sabbath Isaiah says will be kept in heaven for all eternity is the same Sabbath God wants us to keep now as we take an entire day once a week to "remember" what it was like before sin and look forward to when sin will finally be eradicated ;)

@Phoneman-777 , I am wondering how you approach tithes and offerings. From what I have heard tithes were to be given to the Levites and it was more than 10 percent altogether.
The word "increase" is interpreted differently. I myself say it means "before taxes". So, if my paycheck gross is $1,000, God gets $100 plus offerings on top. I been doing this way for YEARS and I've NEVER had any financial problems. My truck tires last longer, my appliances don't break down as often as those of my non-Christian family and friends, and I know for a fact there are many here who are in financial straits - statistics bear that out - who whine "I can't afford to return tithes and offerings". No...we can't afford TO NOT return them, because 90% that blessed goes waaaaaaay farther than 100% that's cursed ;)

Are we clear that a strong rebuke of a brother in error is not hate, but love, according to Leviticus 19:17 KJV? Since you threw around the "no love" I'll need an answer before continuing to dialog.

I, as well as many OSAS folks, have cried on bended knee asking God for forgiveness, a purified heart and lifelong guidance, protection and favor. His grace is sufficient; those are His words. If you don’t believe God’s grace is sufficient then you’re calling Him a liar and are guilty of blasphemy.
Jude 1:4 KJV should be cause for the OSAS crowd's concern.

I find it strange also that people put themselves back under the Law... it's so well covered in Scripture not to do that!
But to those who like to be under the "commands" of God/Jesus... how about Matt. 5:48? What do they do with that?

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (KJV)
sadly some think they have done that..

while others do not understand what Jesus meant when he said it

James points to keeping the Ten Commandments as works of faith when he says if we don't commit adultery, yet kill, we "art become a transgressor of the law" and then charges us to speak and act in a manner which is the antithesis to such transgression.
but the example over which he is chiding those he wrote to is favoring the rich over the poor, showing partiality ((James 2:1-7))
so James does not lift the 10 commandments out as though they are still binding but the rest of the law isn't: the thing in which they have been unrighteous is from Leviticus 19.

we are either under the whole law or we are not under the law. the idea that Christians are under the 10 commandments but nothing else does not come from scripture: we would be in error to treat ceremonial physical observance of the sign of the Mosaic covenant in the same way the Judaizing false teachers demanded circumcision among the believers in Galatia.

Paul was talking about the yearly feast day sabbaths which "were a shadow of things to come"
preposterous.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink,
or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath
(Colossians 2:16 kjv)
'holyday' here in kjv is literally 'feast' or 'festival' -- those are the 7 feasts of the law.
'the sabbath' here in kjv is differentiated from the yearly festivals.

You didn’t answer my question because your pride won’t allow you to do so. Your pride also won’t allow you to be rebuked by anyone, let alone by someone who isn’t in theological lockstep with you. Furthermore, I couldn’t care less if we have further dialogue or not.

You’re guilty of breaking the 1st Commandment and ironically you quote a verse that pertains to you, one who places value on your works rather than on Christ and His works, thus denying His saving grace.

Such black and white thinking. No wonder you fall into much error.
Situation Ethics: the belief in "Thou shalt not, UNLESS..."

What a spectacle it will be when the OSAS crowd stands before "the Judgment seat of Christ" red faced trying to explain why they couldn't keep His commandments while Daniel, Hananiah, Azariah, and Mishael sternly look on with keen interest.

He does not understand Jude 1: 4 speaks of licentious. The same people James condemned because they only CLAIMED to ave faith. While the truth was. Theor faith was dead (non existent) they only had mere belief.

Which really is no different than Phoneman himself He only has mere belief also. Only his belief is not licentious, its legalistic.. While Jude and james did not speak against him Paul wrote Alf of his words condemning his gospel.

phoneman is a ellen white follower.

if you know who she was and what she taught, you will understand his theology a lot better.
