Yelp, Bumble and Apple are now covering abortion travel Welcome to another week in this strange reality we call the present, during which yet another COVID variant is making its way across the U.K. and companies are finding themselves again stepping into weirder and thoroughly modern roles that, frankly, companies shouldn’t have to be stepping into, and yet here we are. I’m talking about the fact that Yelp announced this week that it would be joining a slew of other companies that pledged to pay for employees to travel out of state to access abortions. You read that right: Yelp, Citigroup, Apple, Match Group and Bumble are all expanding their coverage for abortions. Why are these companies doing this? In short, they’re responding to the myriad laws restricting abortion across the U.S., especially the Texas law that bans abortions after six weeks, which went into effect Sept. 1. As a reminder, this law operates in a strange way, encouraging private citizens to sue anyone who “aids or abets” a forbidden abortion. Yelp, based in SF, has over 200 employees in Texas. The policy also applies to employees in future states that restrict access to reproductive health care, which is likely to become relevant as more states pass anti-abortion legislation.

Under the US Constitution yes it can be a states right, that does not make it a Godly moral right. As a Christian i believe it is Good's right. I can t wait to get the heck out of California ..
The Supreme Court justices have already violated their oaths when they failed to address massive and major election fraud as brought to them by 17 states. They could very well reverse their decision about Roe v Wade after this uproar, since they can longer be trusted to solemnly do their jobs and ignore political pressures. They have been playing politics instead of administering justice, and that is exactly why America is on the brink of destruction.
Since this was a critical and politically volatile decision, the judges should have barred all the clerks from getting involved. They are paid to write their own decisions, and in this case no one other than the actual justices should have been handling the writeup. So once again they failed to do the right thing, and now there is rioting from the Left because they love the idea of killing babies at taxpayer expense. The majority of citizens are against abortion, but the Leftist elites use this as a tool to get the extremists up in arms.
So does that mean they are not giving the decision for States to decide? Regulating or prohibiting?
Yeap there is always someone not doing their job as designed or as regulated. We see this all the way up to the executive.
But we will see, they have been making very good decisions on many cases related to pro life and religious freedom.

It still shocks the conscience that our votes were publicly stolen. And just as publicly those trusted to right that evil wrong instead sided with evil.

In Civics we learn that there are 3 founding documents that laid the foundation of our laws. The declaration of independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.
The Declaration of Independence lays out the foundation of rights given by God and the problems that the Colonist had against Great Britain. These grievances are addressed in the Constution. Many people would not ratify the Constitution until it had further protection of human rights. So they passed the Bill of rights.
God given rights are listed in the Declaration,
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,

Governments are only to secure these rights because they are God given and not up to choice by anyone.
What if they said we are making liberty a states right to choose?

Maybe the Constitutional Unalienable Civil Right to privacy and the 1965 case of Griswold v. Connecticut, will be hurdles to overcome in order to outlaw abortion again.
And should that occur will we see a movement structured to outlaw birth control again too? Because birth control artificially precludes the potential for life?
And should those occur, don't we have to the outlaw capital punishment? An imperfect justice system that has wrongly convicted the innocent,if we as a people hold to the sanctity of life, cannot then carry on with the ultimate punishment in a system that can get it wrong. And possibly then put the innocent to death.

It looks like it will be up to each state to decide what they allow their citizens.

Does precluding the potential for life have a heartbeat or cells with a human DNA and XY or XX chromosomes?
If this was the case then every release of sperm or an egg is considered life as well.
Ben Franklin obviously isn't against justice but he is making an argument to say how important it is for the juducial branch to make sure that justice is properly served.
Government Biblically is given the right to use the sword for justice and peace.
To me that is appeasement. Life is in the same sentence as liberty. What if their quote said,

or prohibiting Liberty,”
Likely one if those arguments that formerly made for legislation that proposed and accomplished the outlawing of birth control.

I think that only would apply to countries that govern according to biblical edicts.
