When I was just 17 years old my blood pressure was extremely high. It made no sense to the doctors because I only weighted 120lbs standing 5’8. After several tests, it was decided that I have heredity blood pressure. That means the problem runs in my family. Currently I weigh more than I did back then. However I’m not over weight for my height. Believe me if I were, I’d be hearing about it. I get a physical done every year. My food intake is what you’d call a balanced diet. I don’t over eat any one thing. In fact due to my stomach problems, I barely like food.

Tiredness: I get tired more often then I should. My doctor tells me it’s because of the high blood pressure medications. It’s a trade off so that I don’t die early. But it makes concentration extra hard for me.

saiah 53:5
New International Version

5
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

Thanks for the verse but I don't think that is going to help me much.

Focus on the last part. By Jesus’ stripes you are healed.

I will argue that those stripes were for Sin, and not for physical problems.

I have prayed that God would touch you and heal you and make you whole. Mind, body, and spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. James 5:15
Thank you. :) That is what I prefer. :) Keep in mind that I believe the Bible, but my interpretations might not be like yours. And there are reasons for this. That could take a long time to explain. I believe that context is king, so often times I don't quote just one verse at a time. Besides that, I listen to an audio bible everyday. I just let God speak through it however He wants. And sometimes I find that the views I form in my mind don't always line up exactly the way some other people see them.

I saw your reply here and I just have to put in my two cents. Please consider this… when sin was ushered into the world through Adam, it not only distorted man’s thoughts and behavior, it also corrupted every aspect of the planet we live on, including our bodies.

Without sin, our bodies would not be corruptible. There would be no high blood pressure or cancer or kidney disease or liver damage. Disease, injury and physical pain are a direct result of the thread of sin that runs through us all. The stripes that He bore were specifically for the healing of our bodies as well as our minds.

Just a thought.

I am also praying for you.

Thank you for your prayers. :)

I don't feel like discussing the bible interpretations. There is a good reason why there are so many different denominations. Christian's don't agree on the more complicated or confusing matters of our faith. If I wanted to do that I would post in the Bible section of this site.

Argue with God. Not with anyone else. About what his word says.
I don't think he meant engage in a verbal confrontation..."argue" has shades of meaning.

I agree! Thanks. :)

If one was to argue about this. It would not be arguing with God. I would be arguing about what does scripture really mean, and how to do we apply it. I mean maybe it shouldn't even be applied to this. When we speak of Bible context, sometimes you need to look at how it fits in with the entire bible. Like I was trying to say before, this opens a can of worms. This is a prayer thread. That's how i feel about it.

As far as I know from experience and from what doctors say. High Blood Pressure is called the silent killer because you can't feel it.

I don't understand what your saying...

Wednesday I see my doctor. I've been having some blood pressure problems. And I discovered that one of my blood pressure medications is making me extremely tired. It seems that one of my blood pressure cuffs isn't reading me right.
