Hey all! my name is Amanda I live out in Nova Scotia Canada , I am 34 years old soon to be 35 in April 2nd! I became a follower of Jesus 3 years ago and counting when my life was forever changed by Jesus when I was stuck in a 10 yr alcohol addiction and depression and He saved me from that and many more since then and that's the beginning of my story/ testimony all for His glory amen !

I'm here to make some new friends and fellowship also to learn more on my Christian walk since I'm new to reading the bible and that I'm open to any advice or tips on studying that makes it easier to understand like what kind of version to use of the bible for example.

I also love to learn about apologetics and theology and just learning about different denominations and understanding why , the more I can learn the better it helps with my walk with Christ and i find it interesting

I cant wait to hopefully make some new friends and fellowship and looking forward to meeting you all and thanks so much for reading!

www.biblegateway.com - another excellent study site // https://www.biblegateway.com/audio/dramatized/niv/Gen.1 - you can find online "audio" Bibles to listen to here, in various translations and formats

www.gotquestions.org - a great place to get answers to your basic questions about the Bible, and Christianity in general. It is also a great place to begin a deeper study of a Biblical topic or verse.

Finally, here are several locations to listen to daily teachings/lectures and/or sermons by some of my favorite theologians, pastors and missionaries.
