2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Good verse you quoted.

Yet, we are establishing the reason we are saved. Not so much how you live the Christian life.

JESUS is The Life, sin is death and separation. Remind me how you are in a Relationship with Him with death in your fallen life?

SALVATION is freedom from sin slavery ...being in The Book of LIFE.

sin slavery is wanting to remain a slave to wicked intentions. it is wanting to continue living in death by eating from the tree of knowledge.

the tree of knowledge (of good and evil) is man's doctrine claiming who has SALVATION.

um ...what do you think having the seal is about?
How about you read these three verses below.

Ephesians 1:13
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of the promise.

Ephesians 4:30
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22
Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

That's you not cleaning your Temple for The HOLY SPIRIT to Dwell in it.
This misunderstands Scripture in a huge way.

1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Red words are what the believer must do.
Blue words arre what God does WHEN the believer does the red words.

Questions?

even the demons believe
Yes, another verse totally misunderstood.

James 2:19 - You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

So, what is it specifically that the demons believe? "that there is one God". That is monotheism.

Does the Bible say anywhere that believing that God is one is salvific? No. No one is saved by believing that. All the Jews, especially the Pharisees, believed that God is one. Yet, Jesus told them they would "die in their sins" unless they believed in Him.

Also, the demons believed based on EXPERIENCE. That is why they believed that. They were created and resided in heaven until they joined Satan's rebellion. So they KNEW that God is one.

What the demons do NOT have is faith. iow, they do NOT trust in God. For anything.

Too many believers use James 2:19 as an example of "demon faith" which doesn't save. They aren't even close to what James wrote.

In fact, James NEVER said anything about demon faith. There is no such thing.

no one is good, but God alone
He meant there are none Good like the Father, because there are many good in human terms:

Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Luke 23:50 And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:

-Only the good will enter into the joy of the Lord:

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

You can't take one singular verse, and eliminate goodness from man, neihter can you eliminate righteousness:

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

And because you have built on sand, every thing afterwards is err, like the perversion of Justice by the imputation of "free gifts".
Lot is full of sin
You can't have Lot "full of sin" and have him beeing called righteous at the same time, the Word is Truth and cannot lie. You have to make up your mind, either you believe the Word, or your own understanding. The witness of God is greater, that is why I don't believe you, because the Word says Lot was righteous. You are the one speaking opposite to the Word, so it isn't false witness, you did say Lot was a sinner, maybe you just don't understand it.
you are condemned twice
You are not the Judge to condemn anyone, you are the accuser, and a single witness:

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

Romans 3:10-28
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat [is] an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips: Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet [are] swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery [are] in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where [is] boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Um, what is your point? Do you think you don't use the Name of CHRIST? You are using the Name of CHRIST to sin ...and you are going to burn for it.

Hint ...you are not sealed.

There is none righteous, no, not one:
There is no fool that worketh righteousness:

Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

All have sinned, but if we repent and confess, He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and He will no longer remember our sins, and they shall not be mentioned:

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Ezekiel 18:22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

Ezekiel 33:16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

-You have to consider all the verses in the Word, not just pick the ones you like:

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Just because all have sinned, doesn't mean repentance is impossible. Quite the contrary, because all have sinned, all are in need of repentance and cleansing from all unrighteousness.

no, i believe you were never sealed to begin with.
You show yourself to openly practice what Paul describes in Galatians 5.20 ~ idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contention, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambition, dissension and heresy.

You are ... a single witness:
No he is not. More than one have witnessed and attested to the travesty of Obey-JESUS's
willfully repeated sin, hypocrisy, slander, grand standing, and twisting of God's Word.

By O-J's own professed standard, he is indeed condemned.

i'm not afraid of you trying to keep your fallen life of sin. Your flesh is telling you i'm those things because you want your death.

Deu 1:16
And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

Deuteronomy 1:17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

Proverbs 24:23 These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.

Pro 24:24
He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
Pro 24:25
But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.

I was defending myself, but even if three witnesses of man, accuse OJ, it is still not up for the witnesses to "condemn" him. You are the accusers not the Judge. If wheter or not OJ is "condemnd" is up for the Judge to decide, not you accusers.

Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

I guess you don't read posts before you respond to them.

See above. What does "those who have believed" mean to you?

Or, do you believe that the Holy Spirit doesn't seal every believer?

You can answer either question, or both, if you'd like.

Thanks.

My apologies. Please note: O-J's words condemn himself.
