I like men who wear nice aftershave, are chivalrous and especially men who genuinely have a Christlike character... it’s a beautiful feeling to know a man is caring and protective toward you... a most especially appealing quality and one I think I respect most of all... is faithfulness... a man who only has eyes for his own woman and defends/protects that relationship from anything that could undermine it, now THAT is a real man 💪 I like men because they have strength, and they see things from a different but good perspective from me , I have seen this in my Son when he looks out for me with a kind of caring authority, it makes me laugh lol... it just comes naturally to him, it’s not controlling or over-bearing, it’s hard to explain. I like how men have banter and a lot of energy, they can be fun to be around 😀☺️....any thoughts ladies... let’s keep it positive ❤️✝️

er...ok double up on my thread but ok the more the merrier...!

I like that men just get on with it. They mostly have a one track mind so they dont get distracted easily so if a man really puts his mind to something nothing will stop him. I like that determination.
I think thats perserverance. Men dont give up easily. I think men have a lot of reserve and they can draw on their strength to do amazing things. Nothing will faze them.

I dont know if this is a trait of just men but I find because women need to think and look after so many things their energy is more scattered.

A good observation. I can come across as rude or impatient at times. I help a lady friend about my age around her home and garden. Once I've decided what to do, I get on with it. She likes to talk. I'm focused on the task. I have to extricate myself without being offensive. It's not easy.

you dont have to talk back. When a woman wants to talk, I think they dont really expect a man to talk back as well. Just listen...at the same time as doing your task

cos we know men cant really do more than 3 things at once. My dad just got around this (listening to women /aunties talk) by putting on his headphones and listening to music. But then, hed sometimes forget that he could do other stuff and just stare blankly at the records going round and round on the turntable while he's listening to the music. Yes the needle is in the record. Are you REALLY listening to the music or just timing how long it takes?

I dont know with my dad. lol

I notice that a boy might read a book he couldnt actually tell you what it was about but he might boast and say it was this thick and had this many pages!

But if a girl reads a book she'll tell you the plot and act out the voices.

Surely you’ve seen and listened to a Man Pastor/Minister?

Unless that comment was directed at 5 - 7 year olds.

Deja view: The feeling you have seen this thread before.

Although with the current system it IS slightly possible that both threads were submitted before either was approved.

In the last thread, 7 pages later, no woman posted what she likes about men. At least in this thread Butterflyyy answered her own question. I have to give SimpleSheep credit for agreeing with Butter that she likes aftershave. That's a scrap.

I guess, except for Butterflyyy, apparently women feel it must not be said. A better thread would be "Why women won't say why what they like about men?" :p

Lol I must say, I do keep wondering why no one is willing to say what they like about men, especially when so many of us hope for a Godly husband one day😂☺️

Lol I was thinking of more things I like about men today 🤣😍...I feel so much safer with a man in the house... and I like how they chop logs or bring them in and it’s easy for them... in fact they generally seem to have a strong constitution in some ways that at times can be a real blessing to a woman. They can have a steady, stabilising and reassuring influence on a situation.
I’m not suggesting all women are like me but I detest technical information, I’m more practical... I’ve noticed men generally seem to actually like technical info which takes a burden off...that’s a nice feeling...
One thing I love most about men is that boys look up to them and no one can teach a boy how to become a man except a man! I know that sounds a bit obvious but it’s such a profoundly precious thing which society desperately needs; the example of good male role- models who care enough to be around. That’s something you can’t put a price on. 🦋

It's not obvious. According to the enlightened Leftist, gender doesn't matter. Women need men like fish need bicycles.

So you see, you don't really need a man to keep you down with his binary, hetero-patriarchal dominance :D

I DID answer and list some of the things I like about my male friends in the other "What Women Like About Men" thread -- so yes, we do answer. :)

I just felt it would be redundant to repeat it all again here.

Of course, maybe a lot of women refrain from saying anything because they know it causes less trouble.

It's no problem, Butterflyyy :).

Lanolin actually wrote a thread on the exact same topic, and as someone pointed out, they could have actually been in line at nearly the same time to be approved, but hers might have been been slightly ahead so that it was approved and posted first.

No worries at all!

I'm sorry no one really clarified this -- the reason you might not have received as many replies here is because some ladies may have already answered the other thread.

Please, don't let it stop you and keep on writing! (y)
