Mat 24
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Luke 17
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

32 Remember Lot's wife.

33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left

Pretrib rapture.

When you are remembering Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah or perhaps Noah's ark, remember the Just People were left behind and it was the wicked that were taken and destroyed. Those taken were unpleasing to God and God destroyed them by fire and water. Those left behind, not taken, were saved.

In both lot, and noah the righteous were dealt with first.

Noah ushered into the ark preflood

Lot removed to another location pre judgement.
Jesus did not frame either as post judgement deliverances.

Same deal with the baby Jesus. He was removed and ushered into Egypt before the slaughter of The Unborn bye Herod. Which would be yet another pre-trib pre-judgement dynamic. A principle that God removes his people prior 2 judging the wicked.

The rapture?

Or perhaps the destruction.
It becomes clear when the "be ready" context is added.
Because in Matthew 24 the Lord mentions twice watching and being ready, concerning the one taken.
in Luke 17 one of the examples "at night sleeping". If that is true why with the one that's being left need to be ready for anything? Wants to component of watch and be ready is added to those verses, I cannot see anyting but it implying the Rapture.
Here is Matthew 24;

The one staying need not watch.
Watch for what?

The rapture is the event where watching and being ready applies

Can't be the rapture
the ones taken are depicted as half the group.

Are you saying the worlds population at the second coming on horses are half righteous, half devil worshippers?

Noah road out the storm in the ark he constructed as of the Lord'd instruction.
Lot walked out on his own two legs as instructed by God's angels and hide nearby as destruction came.
Jesus wast takes to Egypt by Joseph and Marry as instructed by God's angel and waited until the danger was gone before returning to their home.
Do not see any evidence of God swooping down ant taking them.
Do not see any evidence of them leaving the earth.
What I do see is the Lord providing escape to a safe place where He protected them from the destruction that was to come and because of their doing as instructed. Preparing and following His instruction.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

With the wheat and tares parable, it looks like those that are going to be destroyed are gathered first. But they aren't gathered and taken- they are gathered, and bundled together. Would farmers make bundles of weeds, then gather what they actually want to harvest, and then burn the bundles in the field? I guess I need more agricultural education.

Your position is inconsistent with the context of the flood, which is clearly presented in verses 36 - 39. In the flood, the ones "taken" were taken by destruction, not by rapture.

Watch for what? The coming of the Lord. Noah paid attention to God ("watched for His coming"), and was ready when the destruction came.

That is not how an analogy works.
Not even close.
If we apply your example to any analogy , then none of them mean anything.

Not only that but you can not admit that all 3 examples were dealt with prejudgemnet.

The main thing i am pointing out is that neither was removed post judgement.

"""Jesus wast takes to Egypt by Joseph and Marry as instructed by God's angel and waited until the danger was gone before returning to their home."""
EXACTLY!
REMOVED prejudgment/trib, and RETURNED later.
That mirrors the pretrib rapture!

"""Lot walked out on his own two legs as instructed by God's angels and hide nearby as destruction came."""
Re read it.
They had to remove him with force.
I had not noticed the connection.
As in the pretrib rapture, we are taken forcefully.
Thanks for bringing that out, even if it was indirect.

Placing your own interpretation on Scripture to support your belief will never convince those who study and understand.

Watch for what? The coming of the Lord. Noah paid attention to God ("watched for His coming"), and was ready when the destruction came.
then all on the roof, bed, and at work get destroyed.

Jesus says half are taken...not " all are destroyed"
So it is apples vs oranges.
2 completely separate dynamics.
Besides that, noah is ushered into the ark "prertrib"
The " taken away" of wicked is much later.
So really, now that i am thinking about it, "taken" ,used twice, is not at all a law that says it ALWAYS HAS to be the exact same dynamic.
The baby Jesus taken to egypt.
Lot taken out of Sodom.
The wicked taken away
Those on a roof taken away.

All to hell?

Nope.
But the context is hidden for some reason.
It is right there but hidden.
"Before the flood" is the context.

Not during, not after.
Conversely, it is also a prejudgement /pre-tribulation dynamic with lot and the baby Jesus..

God dealing with his people ahead of judgement

My point is that, if in the rapture, we are taken, and we are, then the one on the roof taken to hell, would never fit, because postribbers say the righteous are raptured postrib, not the wicked.

But who is getting ready to stay?
Jesus told the same group "be ready"

I disagree that it is Pretrib.
There is zero time attached to this event which will happen when the Father says " Go get your bride, she's ready'"

Here is a problem with the teaching of a pre-trib rapture.
You have to find a way to deal with Paul saying it will be at the last trump.
You have to find a way explain that the anti-christ makes war on the saints for 1260 days.
You have to find a way to include the church and the tribulation saints in the first resurrection if it happens 7 years apart.
You have to find a way to explain the parable of the wheat and tares.
This can not be done without taking Scripture out of context and try to make it say what it does not say.

Placing your own interpretation on Scripture to support your belief will never convince those who study and understand.
YOUR claim was that Lot needed no assistance in leaving sodom.
You were wrong.
You got Jesus TAKEN to egypt correct.

Both no brainers.
Your post makes no sense.
The scriptures read very plain.
Nothing by me was mis interpreted, however your mis interpretation came out and was corrected.

Lot was warned what was to happen.
Noah was warned what was to happen.
Joseph was warned what was to happen.
All were told what they must do to escape.
All three CHOSE to do as instructed.
Show me Scripture where God reached down and removed.
