I will say on a plus side of being a senior is that I love this stage of life. The stress of younger years and having to go to work everyday is over for me. Daughter is raised, downsized the house and mortgage payment, things that used to stress and bother me don't anymore and after working since the age of 13 (babysitting), and then a multitude of other jobs. I get to do whatever I want to.
Thank God still o.k. enough to get around and just on the beginning of old age declining as in health wise... So I would not trade this stage of life for any other previous one. I now have time to stop and smell the roses and grow the garden. O.k. I piddle in the garden and God does the growing, but it is fun to watch it grow and love the bounty that comes from it.
I planted a bunch of bulbs and now there is green poping out all over the yard where they were planted and just a few weeks will see all the flowers from the fall plantings.... It's gonna be real pretty y'all.
Loving life as a senior...for sure.
