no that is not true, the context of Isreal today and the jews being the elect of God is well established which is the argument they are not per this thread "We the new chosen people, are Jews no longer chosen people?"

Thw jews are still the elect of God as we see them in the entirely of the bible. As a normative. Yet they can reject Christ and many do and the nation is still protected by God as HIS word says it will be. IF you do not see what I provide as biblical proof or relevant, I leave you to your own understanding. As I said you do not need to agree with what I said or posted. I think others would look at what was provided and come to a different conclusion than you. However, if you disagree with it telling me:
"To post Scriptures in complete context one would have to post the entire Bible in every post. "

you just need to provide your biblical position.

Gen 17:9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
Gen 17:10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
Gen 17:11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
Gen 17:12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
Gen 17:13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
Gen 17:14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

Gen 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Gen 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
Gen 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Lev 26:40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
Lev 26:41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
Lev 26:42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

Deu 7:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

Still learning the protocol around here :) my question or the explanation i asked for was to
We come back again to the unconditional promises made to Abe. The Bible is clear that God will keep His promise to Israel and He will restore the Jewish people. They will recognize Jesus was the Messiah. And God will keep His promises, either that or God is a liar, and we know that cannot be true.

Scripture tells us we are chosen. 1 Peter 2: 8-9 "………They (Jews) stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for. 9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy “

"Those who belong to Christ are God’s chosen people: “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise” (Galatians 3:26-29).

We are the new chosen people, but God has not rejected his people, they rejected God.

Romans 11:1-2 "I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel?"

We are to condemn the rejection of Christ that many Jews have done, but we are not to judge the people who reject Christ—we are to feel sorry for them. The Lord still blesses them for being the people he chose to show the idol worshiping nations who he is and how he works. We are asked to bless them for doing this. That does not mean that we are not to judge their acts of denying Christ.

I believe that this is about the house of Israel, that in the Lord's sight, they are not lost, and that we are about to see this fulfilled.
"I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one I called ‘Not my loved one.’ I will say to those called ‘Not my people,’ ‘You are my people’ and they will say, ‘You are my God.’” - Hosea 2:23
Of course I mean in Christ!

I havent read this thread, just wanted to say Jews will always be the Chosen people. The Chosen people who received the Law, a light unto the Gentiles and the line by which Jesus entered the world. But God does not love them more than Gentiles.

OK ,

this is a lot and you have both Genesis and Leviticus I will tempt to chop the tree.

I will start at verse 1 of this chapter.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am [a]Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. Abraham was blameless before God and He made Abraham a promise

2. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”

3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: 4 “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.

did Abraham see this happen? No. BUT He believed God.

5 No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations. 6 I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. 7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.

This is speaking of those who we know to be are from Abraham to today.

here is the verses you posted :

9 And God said to Abraham: “As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations. 10 This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised; 11 and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you.

Just know this Covenant was between God and Abraham which both were required to keep. Abraham Fully did so but the generations after him did not. However, We see in the word of God where Because of Abraham, Moses, and Josuha God did act because of what HE told those prophets who were a Friend to God.

to the point. the covenant was conditional but God kept HIS part even when man did not.

I will stop here for now.

The Lord keeps His word...eventually. We are one in Christ, but there are promises He made to the physical seed of Abraham, just as He made an eternal covenant with the offspring of Aaron.
He promised that in the last days, He would wake up the descendants of the northern kingdom of the house of Israel to who they were.
I testify that He keeps His promises as He has woken me up to the fact that I am one of them. I know this because He has told me so.
Starting in 1996, He has told me, shown me, proved to me, and then confirmed through an independent source that I am descended from Levi. If it didn't matter, why would He tell me?
There is the house of Israel, which includes the ingrafted gentile believers, and the house of Judah, which is presently experiencing a revival, and in the new covenant, He is making us one. Just as He promised.
"15 The word of the Lord came to me: 16 “Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, ‘Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.’ Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, ‘Belonging to Joseph (that is, to Ephraim) and all the Israelites associated with him.’ 17 Join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand.
18 “When your people ask you, ‘Won’t you tell us what you mean by this?’ 19 say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph—which is in Ephraim’s hand—and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah’s stick. I will make them into a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.’ - Ezekiel 37:15-19

"27 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will plant the kingdoms of Israel and Judah with the offspring of people and of animals. 28 Just as I watched over them to uproot and tear down, and to overthrow, destroy and bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant,” declares the Lord." - Jeremiah 31:27, 28

Ezekiel 38 appears to be about to unfold before our eyes.

Beckie, you seem to be confused about God's plan for redeemed and restored Israel. So you could start at Romans 11.

We are so sure what the relationship is between the Jew and the Lord, but I don't think we fully understand. We know they expected a Messiah but did not accept the one God sent, and that brings on their death, we say.

That they do not accept Christ as the Messiah is not altogether their doing, for it is the Lord who blinded their eye.

There are other conditions that may apply, we do not know the mind of God. Their devotion to God makes the most devout of Christians look weak. They include God in everything they do from getting up in the morning, washing, to eating. At least most of them did until now. They did not accept Christ, but they accept that God will send a Messiah. The Lord made many promises to them, and the Lord is always true to every promise.

When I say the house of Israel, I'm referring to the northern kingdom of the house of Israel. Also known as Ephraim, Joseph, or the ten tribes. Those who were exiled by the Assyrian army and have been believed lost for nearly 2,800 years.
Most believe that through intermarriage they have been lost forever. But He has kept at least some together...He is God, He can do this.
Both of my parents' last names originated in the same place.
There are also a thousand different theories and claims as to their fate. They were lost to memory because the Lord willed it. It is also His will to reveal them in the last days.
I am aware of both Messianic and Orthodox 10-tribe groups. I don't have all the answers, though I do know the voice of the Lord.
Both Holy Spirit filled Jewish and Gentile leaders have confirmed this to me.
I spend 99% of my time in my room alone due to multiple chronic illness, injury, and pain conditions. I have for many years.
When I awake, He is there. As I go through the day, He is with me. When I go to sleep, He is my last thought. He is my constant companion. Without Him, I'm sure I would've gone mad.
Because of Jesus, I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Hallelujah!

they remained the people of God even in disobedience God punished them. why? Because GOD fully intended to keep HIS part and remember what Abraham did?

He cut animals into pieces and laid them out before the Lord as to signify Let this happen to me IF I break my Covenant with you.

So God fully intends for Isreal to Keep the covenant and IF not HE will destroy them. And they will be HIS people until HE does so.

lol there is the Jew the person's race, and the jew based on the belief kind of like Muslim and the Arab. an Arab can be Muslim but that does make him an Aarab.
