All believers need to do 3 things:

1. Confess that Jesus is the Son of God.

2. Love Jesus, this means you spend time with Him in worship, prayer, in the word, in meetings, etc. This is how you become sanctified and grow in grace.

3. Hear Him. This means that you hear Jesus speaking and you obey. You cannot claim to be His disciple or to hear Him if you don't do what He says.
