The gospel is much more than we suppose.............

The Bible has one theme -----Salvation ----it starts in Genesis and ends with a New Jerusalem where all who have accepted ---received -----God's free Graced Gift of Salvation will reside with Him ---no tears --no Fear --no sickness --no disease ---no sin ---no anger ---no worries -------only -----Health -great peace ---joy ---happiness ---- contentment -----and Fellowship with the one True God ------

That said the Bible is also a Spiritual instruction Booklet -----it tells God's Children how to live in the NOW and have a great Physical existence in this Physical realm ----- It gives instructions on how to deal with all that comes against us ----depression ---oppression ----sickness -disease ----worry ---anxiety -----Fear and all bad situations that come against us ------it tells us how to live a Happy ---Healthy ===Peaceful ---Joyest -----stress Free life right here on this earth ------

Did you know that God's word is a spiritual Weapon that fights the enemy -----but it is up to us to execute this Spiritual weapon -----God provided His Word --who is Jesus ----we are to put it into action ---True Faith requires a positive response on our part -----


Ephesians 6:17 AMP

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Barnes' Notes on the Bible
And the sword - The sword was an essential part of the armor of an ancient soldier. His other weapons were the bow, the spear, or the battle-axe. But, without a sword, no soldier would have regarded himself as well armed. The ancient sword was short, and usually two-edged, and resembled very much a dagger.

Of the Spirit - Which the Holy Spirit furnishes; the truth which he has revealed.

Which is the word of God - What God has spoken - his truth and promises; see the notes on Hebrews 4:12. It was with this weapon that the Saviour met the tempter in the wilderness; Matthew 4. It is only by this that Satan can now be met.
Error and falsehood will not put back temptation; nor can we hope for victory, unless we are armed with truth. Learn, hence:

(1) That we should study the Bible, that we may understand what the truth is.

(2) we should have texts of Scripture at command, as the Saviour did, to meet the various forms of temptation.

(3) we should not depend on our own reason, or rely on our own wisdom.

A single text of Scripture is better to meet a temptation, than all the philosophy which the world contains. The tempter can reason, and reason plausibly too.
But he cannot resist a direct and positive command of the Almighty.

I say ----it is up to all Born Again Christians to put God's word into action ------to ward off all oppression --Stress----anxiety ---anger ---etc --which today brings sickness and disease to our bodies ------ God's Word is our Sword ---- it is our weapon ----to fight for our Health --joy ---peace ----happiness and wholeness in our lives ----Speak out in Confidence your Faith ----Believe in the Word and don't Doubt --------
It is not easy peasy Folks ----it takes stamina ----staying the course ----it takes total reliance on the truth of God's word and trusting God will do as He says in His promises -----the enemy will do everything he can to knock you off your Path and crush your Faith ------

There is nothing that true Christians will encounter that God will not provide a way of escape -----through His word ------but we have to execute the instructions given in this the Greatest Book ever written in my view ------DO THE WORD GET THE RESULTS -------THROUGH FAITH AND TRUST -------

Many Christians have little idea of what the gospel really is. For many it is simply a "get out of hell free" ticket. It is much more than that, and God's word makes that clear.

Romans 5:9 Since have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath.......
Hebrews 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our conscience from dead works, in order to serve the living God!
Luke 11:13 So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!
Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved by His life!
Romans 5:15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many!
Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one, how much more will those receiving the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!

Let's live in the "much more" of God's provision instead of struggling to be what God has already made us to be in Christ.
