Please pray for me to move past my heartbreak from a breakup. I'm so sick about it. I'm not eating. I can't stop thinking about it. I know God has better plans for me, but my heart is still so broken.

I can understand the pain of a broken heart and I will say a prayer for God to comfort you, give you peace of mind, and clarity of thought on moving forward with your life.

I have been through a couple bad ones myself, and to me, it was harder than dealing with a loved one who dies.
People say time heals…. actually God heals…. and over time things are more manageable. At first you don’t know how you can go on …but you do, and you get stronger.

As for advice …keep yourself busy …idle time is your enemy and you keep churning stuff over and over in your mind……kind of like a bagless vacuum with all the memories and thoughts swirling around…

Filling your head with scripture is a great neutralizer and it is healing ….Memorize scripture, and when those thoughts start to take hold start going over the scripture in your head. And make a list of things you are thankful for… keep it with you and pull it out when you start getting depressed….You cannot be thankful and depressed at the same time.

I was recently looking through some current pictures of high school friends and saw a friend I hadn't seen for years. I remember being at her home in our junior year and she had just broken up with her 'steady' boyfriend. She was so down and said her whole world has caved in. So I see her in a pic she submitted surrounded by her kids looking very blest now.
I don't know if kids are involved or if he's Christian but I like to think there's always hope. However, one has to face the fact, at a certain time, if they're not interested then let it go and get involved with life. As said above, helping others & volunteering will help immensely. God bless you❣
