Did you already think about the importance of the prophets?

• Amo 3:7,8 -> ““For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets. The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken; who can but prophesy?””.

The Creator always reveal His secret to the prophets before He does something. And, when He speaks, what prophet can refrain his tongue and not prophesy?

It’s truth that the spirits of of prophets are subject to prophets (1Cor 14:32). Nevertheless, see what came about Jeremiah when he tried to refuse his prophetic ministry:

• Jer 20:9 -> “If I say, “I will not mention him, or speak any more in his name,” there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot.”.

So, how good is when the Creator arise a prophet in order to warn people against the evil that is coming in virtue of the sin. For instance, imagine if, before this pandemic suffuses around the world there was a prophet to warn people. Everyone who believed in Jesus could have prepared and avoid many losses.

Nevertheless, who are with alacrity to be a prophet? And where are those who crave for the truth (see 2Tim 4:3,4)?

Unfortunately, the love for money is making many people to prefer the wealth than the peace, neglecting what is said below:

• Prov 17:1 -> “Better is a dry morsel with quiet than a house full of feasting with strife.”.
• Prov 15:17 -> “Better is a dinner of herbs where love is than a fattened ox and hatred with it.”.

In a world which the money is necessary for the acquisition of everything, it’s difficult to believe that:

• Psa 37:16 -> “Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked.”.

Most of the people prefer not to hear the voice of the Creator only to excuse themselves for following what is most convenient to their eyes:

• Jer 6:16,17 -> “Thus says the LORD: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Pay attention to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not pay attention.’”.

They fear more the roar of the lion than the word of the Creator. So, as Jesus said:

• Luk 18:8 -> “… when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”.

So, have a good day hearing Jesus’ voice, for instance, before get married. After all, can you believe: it’s much better a home with peace than a home full of richness, but full of quarrels:

• Pro 21:9 -> “It is better to live in a corner of the housetop than in a house shared with a quarrelsome wife.”
• Pro 21:19 -> “It is better to live in a desert land than with a quarrelsome and fretful woman.”.
