God is truth and we can verify the truth of the Lord when we look at the world God created. In this world of truth there was a change in the church so extreme we are told of the apostle age as a separate age to study. I do not think that the descriptions of what is wrong in our churches told of by John makes it not the truth that the church changed when Constantine changed it.
Yes, there was a change in the church I must agree. There have been many changes in many churches. ONLY ONE THING remains unchanged. And when that began to be greatly disputed, the Dead Sea Scrolls. PRAISE YE THE LORD!!!

Whatever man does or does not do should not effect our reading of Gods words, though I agree they EFFECT those teaching Gods words, which is a problem especially when 'the church' wants to keep whatever knowledge was passed down and that knowledge didn't come from God.

There is a remnant and always will be. Gods truth is out there. We can only know it by HIS WORDS and HIS LEADING. What ever man tells us is only TRUTH once we have searched it out ourselves in His words

I would like to know what the thoughts are of building and growing upon the words of God.

1 Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

It's been two thousand years since those words were written. How much BUILDING have we done? When we find someone building upon the foundation laid by Christ do we seek to help with that build or do we seek only to tear down?

Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

I have a belief the the Church is in real trouble. If it were 2000 years ago and 'the church' were the chosen people that we would not recognize Christ any more than they did as we have become just like them when it comes to the words of GOD, as we are so busy tearing down the WORDS WRITTEN (their exact meaning, punctuation, etc.) instead of building upon the SPIRITUAL meanings/stories of the words written as in WHAT are they SHOWING US. What is happening and why.

This is probably too much to fast but just in case we don't have much time and since I am going for the gold myself just thought I would see if there were others who are of a solid faith and so have an open ear to hearing what God is showing us in these latter days.
God is not politically correct.
Jeremiah 1:10See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
To destroy is just as important as to build, lest your foundation is on sand.

Hello,

Never worry about that when in a thread I started. I think I start them so I don't have to worry as God words are not linear to me., they are interwoven and one thought brings about another that is when I believe the Holy Spirit is leading to a deeper truth. True, some may perceive as 'off topic' but it came from somewhere and they should be investigated . Drives me nuts when I have had a random AWESOME thought and never got it back because I was worried about it not being the right place...

Though I do agree with you we are to dig deeper to find the hidden treasures, for me, it is when we bring those out and put them with truths we already possess that 'building' is done. And it does change and it is like a building to me we move from babes to the mature soldier ready to serve God in ways that ewes can't. We possess what they do PLUS all that has been added to it and it is different, though remaining the same. ONLY GOD can do that...

Do you think the church today has become like the synagogue back when Jesus walk among us in which there was NO DEVIATION from what was known ALLOW? What they knew was the only way and Christ showed them that just wasn't true. What would be the reason of sending us the Holy Spirit if it were not to lead us to deeper truths? Are the words of God not being 'wrought(ing?) in us' today? Do you think with all the accelerated speeds of learning and referencing and the tools at our disposal the the words of God would naturally be brining out things not known before? (not even needed till now since they weren't experiencing the end times?)

I wonder
Romans 15:18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, 19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. 20 Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation 21 But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand. 22 For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.

if there is any hope for us here in these forums with everyone already having been spoken to and having heard....

As for the church and the body of believers I think how you put it fits the bill, we have become used to doing things a certain way but new insight requires one to be flexible in how we learn and study. take the bible code for instance it is a software that lays the bible out in a certain way that if you search the scriptures for certain name words or even years a hidden message shows up that could only be seen through that format. This is but one reason why I liken the bible to an onion or the earths crust because it clearly has many layers more than we can imagine and because of technology and the fact we are in the end times many new insights are being laid out and found hidden treasures that are rooted deep in the scriptures however if one looks at the bible through the same pair of lenses you will remain blind to the hidden gems.

You can tell the lenses one looks through on this forum for instance, we have many teachers but need more students especially concerning the end times, if one holds their own views and beliefs so firmly that they are incapable of admitting they could be wrong and learn from others then they will only see their own truths they will only see through their own lenses but God reveals the deeper things to those who have a heart that can be molded. Take the topic of the rapture and see how strongly and firmly everyone believes that they believe few are able to handle being in such a fiery debate and even fewer are able to learn from it they do not even question their view and understanding.

But a true student of the word is able to do so when one instead tries to disprove their views they see just how strong their view can stand and I have told people many times to test their beliefs by trying to disprove it but I have no idea how many if any actually take my advice. I have studied the rapture from all stances purposely looking through the lenses of each one be that pre pre wrath mid or post tribulation and you can find evidence to support each view if you look for it but one has to be willing to be flexible in their understanding otherwise you only see your own views

Even the remnants who truly thought they kept strictly to scripture were fooled by the dogma the majority of the churches accepted.

I will soon be a 100 years old so I have lived through so many changes in our world. Even 50 years ago some of the the things said on this site would have produced outrage.

There are truly things told us in the old testament that do not apply to us any more--the fleshly type commandments were changed by Christ back to their spiritual meanings. It was impossible for the church to grasp that God is truth in the old testament the same way God is truth in the new testament, God changed how he communicated with us but God did not change the spirit and the original meaning of the law. The discovery of the dead sea scrolls with older copies of the old testament that had not changed over the years of transcribing them by hand opened man/s eye to God in the old testament. The established church screamed heretic at that, but the truth always wins.

When I began a deep study of the old testament that showed how the new testament was a fulfillment of that testament my minister warned me against that study. Several years later he said I might be right to believe in the old testament. We can look to that testament for ways Christ changed things, or we can look at the old testament for ways Christ fulfilled and completed it.

I wish I could read hebrew and greek the king james comes close but I imagine the bible opens up in a whole other way in it's original text not to mention how fascinating the hebrew language is it is a very deep language but then you have greek which is also a deep language.

But a true in depth study of scripture in it's original form would be amazing. I haven't been able to read the dead sea scrolls and I know it is a divided subject that some don't consider to be God's word but until I can read them for myself I think it should be taken as if it is God's word. I hear the book of enoch is a good read.

No but it is literally spiritual:D. Do you think if the words of God were taught as they should be we would run into these problems? I personally don't. I think we would be able to speak with each other 1000 times better because God would have set our thinking correct from the get go. I am so glad I took the time to just do it. I still remember going and getting my 'highlighters' and starting at page one my only goal to read and enjoy every word. No pressure, no test, no nothing but letting God 'speak' to me. The following time was simply amazing. I didn't believe I had kept anything in my mind from the first but I was wrong. I've done it a few more times since then and am about to start again this new year (my one resolution) and can't wait to see what will be revealed....

It is almost unbelievable, when the understanding comes, how truly simple it is. God Bless

Yes the issue is what did God actually say to Christians ? That’s where you run into sects and divisions “ what does salvstion require ?” one asks and many answers diverse in Nature arise seems to
Be what divides us along with lack of humility and understand king that some simply aren’t equipped by God to
Understand as much as others.

there are babes , there are youngins’ there are adults just becoming mature and really learning , then there are the wise and elders who have actually applied the gospel to those lives.

like a family the babes don’t know everything the grandpappies know. The kids don’t have jobs and all the adult responsabilities the grown folk do and are meant to help the youngins’ along gently without strife and striving back towards others who attempt to strive

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:24-

the “ interpretations “ of what God actually said varies is what I’m saying one person listens to Paul alone that’s what God said to them they say. Others claim Moses spoke the truth from God and his law is what we obey that saves us. Others would apply every word literally as the law requires to be done.

Eye for an eye on the law , is what many think God has said, others think he said “ say grace and everyone will be saved “

Every interpretation known comes from what a person thinks Gods word “actually says “ but at the same time people have vastly different interpretations of what it “ actually says “

the truth is Jesus is the word of God manifest and spoken by himself so all can know God. But see that’s just what I myself believe to Be true so I believe the gospel is salvation and we’re saved like Jesus said

others don’t think that though is the issue so we have different ideas of what God “ really said about salvation”

I would say he calls His word spirit yes as does Paul but there are also literal straight forward commands in the gospel meant to be taken as such and there are the teachings of Christ which impart his spirit into our thinking and hearts of faith.

So to me ( just my own belief ) its about hearing and believing the gospel and then applying those new beliefs in our daily lives like Jesus always said it was but others have vastly differing views in a forum so as it’s as simple as what God said he’s said a lot at different times for different purposes.

a Christian has to stick to the doctrine of Christ the teachings about the father son and Holy Ghost in the gospel. The things of the next world to come of eternity and the kingdom of everlasting life with Christ !! The spiritual things require being born of the eternally true spiritual promises in the gospel

“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:”

I don't think we need to be scholars, we simply need to have complete faith in God's word as the truth for how we are to live. We need to accept the word as absolute truth for us and get all the doctrines of the world out of our minds as truth. The media has become the most powerful force in our lives, indoctrinating us constantly with the values of the world that are opposed to the values of God.

It is four years now since I last saw a TV program or a movie. I am just getting free of the input they gave my spirit----I had no idea of power of that influence until I was free of that influence for a couple of years.

Yes the division within the church has always bothered me I mean the enemy is after all a master at the game of war he knows that the best strategy to overcome the enemy army is to divide then conquer. But the church is greatly divided you have hundreds of denominations and within those denominations you have hundreds of different doctrines within those doctrines you have thousands of interpretations each one believing they are are truth and from the holy spirit.
Yet it seems many do not listen to his voice when it comes to this matter because he can't be saying diferent things so then whose voice are we listening to for our understanding?

Maybe it is more wise to learn his voice well first before going into the meat of scripture otherwise we will be swayed by our own thinking or the thinking of others. The way many debate while debating can be good for ones growth everyone just seems to want to prove their point while disproving anothers. And the way scripture is cherry picked and thrown around is appalling. God's word is holy and sacred and should be treated as such it is not a toy for us to throw around.

Being a scholar of the word is over rated there have been plenty on here who had degrees but had little understanding of scripture. There is a difference between knowing scripture and understanding it.

I understand that being true for nations and kingdoms but 'DESTROYING upon the foundation of Christ', just doesn't sit right. The subject I am attempting to discuss is about the ' BUILDING up in and with the words of God. The finding of the 'here a little there a littles' and combining them with their 'BIGGER' parts to build in knowledge and wisdom of God.

This post is full of goodness full of the right questions. Well said, I agree!!! I think we need to work to make it more common place to allow others to do just that without fear of reprisals for not being 'technically' correct. I think we need to be aware as the time of the ending draws near, that God will be pouring out WAY MORE than He ever has for any other generation INFORMATION specific to the final one that NEVER BEFORE HAS BEEN NEEDED. We can't be proud in what we 'believe' to the point we are 'hardened' to Truths from the Holy Spirit.

How can we BE SURE? Because we will find it WRITTEN. If we can't find it written it is NOT of the Holy Spirit. There are no NEW WORDS to be given but DEEPER understandings to the ones we presently have. I just want to encourage those who are not 'formally' taught but are absolutely 'captured' to be aware of what a gift that is and not to deny it.

ABSOLUTELY. :D. AGAIN we can TELL truth from fiction by what is written.

I tend to hold my tongue with certain things that are placed on my heart. Several years ago I said on here that God is creating for himself a new generation of believers a children infused with his spirit and power unlike ever before even more so than the first church and pentacost I said that these children will walk in his power and love and would be used greatly by him with an outpouring of the spirit like never before and never again. I didn't know why I said it I just spoke the words placed on my heart, however I received great retaliation on my statement I was called a false prophet and hounded with scriptures that were used as daggers

So ever since then I hold my tongue on certain things

I have tried to understand it but I can not. God has done WAY TO MANY big miracles on this planet to come to the very end AND RIGHT BEFORE the final inning, quarter, lap, point, playoff forfeit and remove His team from the field. WHY have us live in this generation where knowledge of HIM has never been easier to find and then just take all that knowledge out of play. If someone could explain that it would certainly help.

BUT then there is the next hurdle and that is How does one treat a single generation out of the many COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY and remain Just, and not a respecter of persons, and COMPLETELY change the way one is delivered or kept, or or made perfect, or chastised, or taught patience. How is it one generation does not have to pick up their cross and follow HIM, does not suffer persecution or affliction nor stand or withstand or endure to the end? Or how does Brightness NOT destroy one minute and the next one it does? Or I could go on and on with all the ways it voids out Gods words...

But most of all when you take out all the background noise and you just read what is written and let it flow, you know. It is promised us from the very beginning. GREAT doesn't change EVERYTHING. Maybe some day we could hash it all out. We would have to start at the very beginning....It would be a lot of fun. I am about to start another journey through a Precept on Precept verse by verse reading and I think I will take notes this time listing all the verses that it would make void. That would be an eye opener.

Thank you for your post. I enjoyed it very much.

GOD BLESS YOU!!! I am a firm believer in the OT. Almost all my favorite miracles take place back then. I love to see God having fun and showing His POWER a little bit.

Yes, how does one understand who God is talking to and about if don't know the OT and the dividing of the nations and HOW ON EARTH CAN anyone even come close to saying THANK YOU LORD without realizing HOW MUCH improved our lives became in every way shape and form from the WORK CHRIST FINISHED.

IMAGINE not being able to just pray to GOD yourself? or telling some other man your sins? or Having to WAIT for forgiveness until the 'physical' rituals were done. NOT HAVING THE HOLY SPIRIT? Oh Lord, I just give THANKS AGAIN. I am so blessed that I did read the OT before the new one. I think my appreciation of what was taking place would have not existed except maybe a 10th. How sad the 'chosen people' never got to read the words of God' as I have been so blessed to do with the leading of the Holy Spirit. Yes, the changes in the past 50 years are truly like LABOR PAINs as they come closer and closer and get more and more intense. Can't wait for the new 'age' to be born....

Thank you. Ever want to talk OT, I am all for it. Start at the beginning and go on through....SO many emotions and GODS WORDS bring out every one of them, don't they?

I loved the timing of the Dead Sea Scrolls. That alone tells you God is right here with us. I am all ears to any thoughts or revelations or things you think are important to bring to our minds. And here is fine. I am not an OP stay on the topic type of person. I never really liked school that much when I had to go, and I find I don't like it much still. Thank you and hope to hear more.

Fellowship
Ephesians 2:20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Babylon
Rev 18:4And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Babylon will fall and you should not be counted amongst those that must must drink the wine of God`s indignation. Do not build in her quarters. It is the falsehood ecumenicalism as we live in the time of babylon (and I believe it to be ended soon). There is no consensus in the foundation of Christ as He is the Only King. All must agree with the Scriptures as it is meant to be understood as it demanded by the Iron Rod.

The fire to burn is so a fellow Christians may know their sin and in the time that is available should repent and receive the Eternal Life. Fellowship can only be given in the Presence of God and Jesus, without the taint of doctrines of man and never in babylon.

So to me ( just my own belief ) its about hearing and believing the gospel and then applying those new beliefs in our daily lives like Jesus always said it was but others have vastly differing views in a forum so as it’s as simple as what God said he’s said a lot at different times for different purposes.
I try to keep these scriptures close when reading and writing here because I surely don't want to judge another mans servant.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ

Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

1Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

1Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? 30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

With so many jobs and so many gifts and so many members and so many callings and mix all the rest in, what are the chances WE WILL EVER GET BORED? I truly believe that if we follow His suggestions (commands) that His promises come. I believe this because it happened to me. It happens to me. But it didn't come easy. But it did come FUN and interesting and emotion and REAL. What we need is the meat eaters to act like it. The most mature should be the least condeming the least judgmental the most uplifting the ones who show what a Christian walk looks like with the words of God producing fruit. That seem to be a tiny issue as there is a criticalness that does not come across as 'inviting'. I am working on it. I wish to walk better and more holy everyday and as long as I keep praying and repenting I know I am improving.

If only we could get this ONE BODY to walk together through it all by following His lead. Lets figure out how to kindle a fire and take charge over all our enemies.

The old testament is certainly a good read my favorite is the book of psalms I love to read how David relies so much on his faithfulness or how he would pour out his heart so earnestly to him, I also learned quite a lot about bible prophecy from the Old testament like how bible prophecy seems to foreshadow itself or how deeply God had his hand in the events that took place. Look at the story of moses for instance it seems to have quite a few similarities to the book of revelation you have pharoh a type of antichrist you have the plagues that fell on the land that are very similar to what you read about in revelation you have the lambs blood on the door symbolizing the blood of Christ which we are bought with

I think the only real issue is that if in fact this was a foreshadow of events that are to come then that would mean we will not be raptured before this all happens as the Jews were protected but were not taken out of egypt until the end so it could be seen as a case for the opposing views on the whole rapture thing

So ever since then I hold my tongue on certain things
I have many that come against me but I look at it like this PLEASE

PROVE ME WRONG
NOW,

PLEASE before I teach one more soul something that is not of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTYs Truth.

BUT it must be done with Scripture. I don't believe anything is TRUTH unless I can simply read it myself. Not saying I have to instantly understand because I have had to wait many months for some truths (wasn't ready) but I have got to see where it is coming from and make sure it doesn't void out anything else.

What we have to do is POST the truths given us in GODS WORDS. God will lead those He wants to 'see' where they need to go and what may seem to us to be someone who negates what we put forth as truth isn't seen by those the Spirit is leading. We work for GOD. He tells us we are sheep for the slaughter. Knowing that and still going forth is what we are to do. Be ready for every good work. It has taken me a long time to (and I hate to even say it) TRUST in the leading of the Holy Spirit thinking it was just 'me' and my thoughts. So one day when I felt it STRONG and after I had posted a few posts THAT MADE ME THINK

I GOT THIS NOW, WATCH ME GO then I stopped and went to bed.

I woke up the next morning and still feeling really great about myself thought, I am going to take those same subjects and make them even better. To my amazement, I couldn't find hardly anything. I couldn't think of hardly anything to say. I struggled to find verses. I struggled to KNOW anything. I went back and read what I had written and IF MY NAME wasn't attached to it, I would have sworn it was someone else because I didn't know those things. I didn't know I knew those verses. And nothing was in conflict. And well written (that is NOT ME) And there were second and third witnesses of backing scripture. AND I finally ACCEPTED that even through this mostly UNWORTHY SOUL, the Holy Spirit will work. Humbling. Fall down, repentant praying for forgiveness and to be washed clean so that I could go back to work and pray for another day like that one.

Do you go to Biblehub and look up the Hebrew and Greek and Interlinear and Lexicon?

I tend to hold my tongue with certain things that are placed on my heart. Several years ago I said on here that God is creating for himself a new generation of believers a children infused with his spirit and power unlike ever before even more so than the first church and pentacost I said that these children will walk in his power and love and would be used greatly by him with an outpouring of the spirit like never before and never again. I didn't know why I said it I just spoke the words placed on my heart, however I received great retaliation on my statement I was called a false prophet and hounded with scriptures that were used as daggers

So ever since then I hold my tongue on certain things
Do you think these to be the 144,000?
