I would define sins as things that invoke the wrath of God. Sodomy for example, with the advent of condoms and anti-biotics is it still really a sin? I mean we no longer die of infection, the wages of sin in this case are not death. So is it really still a sin?
People die from infection everyday.

Just because there are ways to minimize risk, that doesn't mean people will actually do it. The Lord will let the passions of sinners become enflamed to the point that they fail to exercise judgement. The wisdom of the world fails- turning on the wise as they are caught in their own craftiness.

Besides, natural consequences are barely the tip of the sword of God's wrath. God can turn your whole life upside-down or end it in the blink of an eye by any manner he chooses. He can let Satan have his way with you until your will is finally broken, or your heart turns into a block of iron. Does that sound like fun?

What harm was caused by Adam and Eve when they transgressed in the Garden? Was it an offense to God’s character and holiness as the Clay Maker or that they violated a natural law? What I am trying to gather is, are where do you stand with as stated by scripture as to what sin is?
People could take a great lesson from Genesis. It's better to let your thoughts come to you, your subconscious is smarter than you in ways many of us have yet to understand.

We still all die, in time.

Only God is timeless

Well it just helps to have a moral principle about what is sin and what is not. The reason the faith is losing so many is because we live in a world where the rules don't make complete sense. Look at where it's losing the most and you will understand.

Wages of sin is death, not just specific sins, but all sins.

This is why we all die here in the flesh, what we can be saved from is the second death, which unlike our life here, is permanent and irreversible.

Yes, true. Except maybe the soul as they say.
yes because it is His breath, and His remembrance of us, and those things are eternal, being derived from Him =]

Correct. There are always two universal laws at work. The Law of Sowing and Reaping, and Newton's Third Law of Motion -- to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Both apply to sin.

“And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:45-48

repentance is part of the covenant as is remission of sins left behind. The New Testament has other promises we don’t want like this

“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:26-27‬ ‭

Christ is about accepting what he’s saying and believing his way sexual
Immorality is always going to be sinful no matter what type is it from homosexuality to adultery to fornication of all Kinds even coveting is sinful like David looked at Uriah’s wife and coveted her led him to adultery , plotting and deceiving and finally plotting and ordering an innocent mans death.

We have to realize Gods spirit is with us 24-7 not just at church and then live accordingly we become his home in Christ

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we all Make mistakes and have thkngs we do wrong but willful continuance in sin when we know it’s sin will entangle us deeply in our walk and leave us bound

when we do thkngs wrong and become aware we repent and then don’t have to worry about imputation of sin but if we don’t bother repenting we’re going to not have that fruit of repenting which is remission of sins and eternal life through Christ
