Not in a good place mentally. I feel angry and like I’m going to explode. No matter how much I pray, I still feel like this.

It’s hard to pray, in fact don’t bother. There will be other times to pray. But right now, you need to deal with whatever it is that you need to deal with.

Why are you angry?

I’m sorry you’re feeling that way Gemmy. I’ve been feeling angry too and full of bitterness. Some days I feel like I’m falling away but I continue to fight. I believe it’s the devil trying to bring us down. Don’t let him win. May I ask what is making you feel this way? Praying for you my friend.

Lord, help me cope
Restore my hope
A new start, a new song in my heart
Lord, help me cope
I put these words together a year ago last July. I was just singing them...again. The other day I said, "Lord, I wish You would just make it so I didn't exist." I've been ill, in pain, and alone for so long that I've just about run out of hope. I've gone to the Well so many times that I'm losing the want to do it.
"What's the point of it all?" I need to feel that there is some point to my existence.
All I can say, Gemmy, is that you're not alone. Reading your post has made me realize that neither am I. Sigh.

Check if you are God's elect or nonelect.

https://www.gotquestions.org/calvinism.html

Total Depravity - As a result of Adam’s fall, the entire human race is affected; all humanity is dead in trespasses and sins. Man is unable to save himself (Genesis 6:5; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10-18).

Unconditional Election - Because man is dead in sin, he is unable to initiate a response to God; therefore, in eternity past God elected certain people to salvation. Election and predestination are unconditional; they are not based on man’s response (Romans 8:29-30;9:11; Ephesians 1:4-6, 11-12) because man is unable to respond, nor does he want to.

Limited Atonement - Because God determined that certain ones should be saved as a result of God’s unconditional election, He determined that Christ should die for the elect alone. All whom God has elected and for whom Christ died will be saved (Matthew 1:21; John 10:11; 17:9; Acts 20:28; Romans 8:32; Ephesians 5:25).

Irresistible Grace - Those whom God elected He draws to Himself through irresistible grace. God makes man willing to come to Him. When God calls, man responds (John 6:37, 44; 10:16).

Perseverance of the Saints - The precise ones God has elected and drawn to Himself through the Holy Spirit will persevere in faith. None whom God has elected will be lost; they are eternally secure (John 10:27-29; Romans 8:29-30; Ephesians 1:3-14).

Anger comes from the flesh. Everyone feels it at times. How we handle it is important. We must recognize that when we are angry we are walking in the flesh and not the spirit.
It can start with something small and if we dwell in it the anger can grow and take over our life. We have to nip it in the bud.
I tell the Lord i am sorry and ask him to help me walk in the spirit and to help me overcome the sin that is in my flesh.
The next time you feel anger tell your self it dont mean nothing, not a thing. You just nipped it in the bud.. Tell the Lord you are sorry and give him glory for saving a wretch like me.
May the peace that is in Jesus Christ be with you.

Busted up and broken down
All around, a let down
Ev'ryone had given up on me.
Starving for compassion
I was out of fashion
A fool, as anyone could see.

Alone in the dark, in pain and afraid
I'd never felt so ripped apart.
This went on for years, and I ran out of tears
Then Jesus resurrected in my heart!

I died, He lives, and dwells inside of me
I am finally assured of eternity.
He never left my side, not even when I died
He was with me in the dark...right by my side!

Faithful is His name! - tc

Anger is a symptom of something else, it is rarely the main problem. Working at locating what the central issue is that the anger is coming from is key to working through it. Dealing with only the anger won't resolve anything as what causes the anger is still there.
Anger is not a sin or automatically bad. Anger is a normal, healthy emotion, but like all emotions it has a chance to get out of control. This is the point that anger becomes a problem.
Even Jesus was shown to get angry, he simply never let it consume him.

I get how you feel. I've felt like that many times in my life, and if I were to let myself sit and think maybe I would now too. I try to keep myself distracted to avoid dwelling too much on negative things.
Not the healthiest approach, but for now it's all I have.
I hope you can find a resolution to what you're feeling.

Adonai, I come to you in Yeshua's name, and ask that You'd do a wonderful work in Levi85's family, with the ailing parents and pregnant wife. Glorify Your name again, and I ask that Your peace that passes understanding would abide with my friend. Amen!!! Shalom, my brother.

I used to be that way, too.

Until I started praying that God change me and I started drawing close to Him.

The more you draw closer to him, that anger and bitterness will start subsiding. Not right away, but over time.

As far as creating me...no question on that.

But as far as granting me salvation and actually listening to me and my prayers I am in a complete quandary...I just don't understand why.

He is awesome and yet for whatever reason loves me...

I might be able to connive my way into heaven yet...
