I haven't been to the chat room in years since the site format was changed in May 2018 and have yet attempted to install the app. Pies are always good. My favorite is apple. My wife went shopping for Thanksgiving yesterday so we are all set.

Be aware the people in chat and the people here in the forums are two distinct groups of people that rarely overlap in communication or approaches to conversations.
By the very nature or forums responses are slower and more deliberate. It may take you seconds to get a hello in chats, but hours to get a single answer in the forums (but it can be faster, depending).
So when the chats go down don't expect to see your chat friends flock here. Or to see equal types of communication. Be prepared to sit and wait. 🙂
That said chatters are still welcome. Seeing different people flutter in breaks things up which can be nice.

I'd request keeping fonts and sizes in mind. It's easy to want to pick more unique looks but these can also make reading harder for others. I didn't even read your post, simply skimmed it as the font option made it difficult to focus on what was said.

Anyways, bring some of those pies on by when you get them ready. I'm sure we'd all be happy to share in them haha.

well if it was a regular crust i might do that but i am making cheesecakes and using a graham cracker crust and i just prefer the taste of the store bought ones.

Got any recipes for a fudge pie? Something that involves heavy whipping cream?

I checked google and cooks.com and all I got was fudge bar recipes and atrocious things involving canned milk.

When I've made my white chocolate with raspberries cheesecake, I substituted
crushed shortbread cookies mixed with chocolate wafers for the graham cracker
crust. It is very sturdy as well as yummy, though likely quite unsuitable as pie crust
