I'd reconsider giving lots of advice on subjects you seem to have little to no experience with. Most on this site will almost definitely have more dating or even marital experience than you seem to possess.
So to be clearly the least experienced person trying to tell those with actual experience how they should conduct those areas of their life,, likely won't have any strong influence. We've lived what you're merely guessing about.

Howdy katheren, and welcome to the forum.

What Subhumanoidal is trying to say in his usual blunt manner is that we've already heard it all before. People have told us the same thing you just told us... well, I'm having trouble counting that high, but it has been a LOT of times we have heard it. And almost all of us have already lived through that part of life too. (I am a notable exception, having reached the overripe old age of 43 without even having been on a date, and no real interest in pursuing the matter.)

So when you say something like what you just said, you can probably expect a lot of reactions something like, "Yeah, yeah, we've heard it all before."

Please don't let that dissuade you, or chase you away from this forum. I promise we're not NEARLY this grumpy about most things. I suggest you read threads and post comments in already existing threads for a while, so you can get a feel for what kind of people you are talking to here before you post more new threads of your own.

You might find this (<= link to Grammarly) very helpful :)
no thanks for that .but thanks any way
That was the nice way of saying that your spelling is so atrocious that it's distracting at best and difficult to understand what you're saying at worst. This is the blunt and honest way of saying it.

So a Grammarly link is like a breath mint? If somebody offers you a breath mint, just take it.

"No thanks, I'm covered."
"No, you are DECEIVED! Take these, please!"

So you are looking for important life advice, but only want it from others who are similarly ignorant and unwilling to learn? Methinks you’re a contender for the gold medal in ballistic podiatry.

There is a good reason why wise people are wise: they seek input from wise people, rather than alienating them.

No no no, she's not looking to RECEIVE important life advice. She's trying to GIVE it.
