We regularly meet up with family at this time of year...which usually leads to a lot of fussing and fighting and hurt feelings... usually everyone trying to change the others to conform to what you or they consider to be "living right".

How about accepting them for who they are this year?

Make a little bit of peace... enjoy each other this year.
They may not be the family you want but they are the family you have.

We always want more...more money, better family, better career, and etc. What's so wrong with accepting where God has placed you? Loving those God has placed in your life.

Just a thought for the season.

I think forgiveness is key

The reason people may want more eg money is they are in debt and need to pay it off. Solution...not MORE money but their debts to be forgiven.

Better family? Well I dont know about you but...the families God gives us are the people he wants us to be around and grow with, and if we are believers many times it is our church family, what 'BETTER' family could you ask for?

A 'better career' well in the Bible we are to be content with our wages and God will promote us when we are ready..He will lift us up higher when weve had enough training and this may take a few years. Its never instant. Those who are in high postions early often fall into the trap of pride and become arrogant.

I dont quite understand why some people think they are fit to judge others on how they live. Are they in their shoes? No.
