Aaron56 wants me to "do better". I'm up for a challenge, so here goes... Let's break this down:

This right here is where Aaron is trying to establish his credibility with you. He's trying to paint this picture that he's not an anti-gun, left-wing whacko. Trust him, he owns "a" gun! That means he's not a gun grabber, so what comes next will carry more weight. This is a very, very common tactic among anti-gun lefties on the Internet. Learn to recognize their patterns.

Ya. Sure he's "concerned". But his concerns are not our concerns as we're about to find out...

...aaaand here we have the heart of the matter! No mention of an out of control riot with a bunch of communist revolutionaries burning up a city. No mention of fact that police weren't doing a thing to stop it. No mention of the fact that Kyle was assisting relatives struggling to keep a family business from literally going up in flames. No mention of the fact that these antifa's threatened to kill him. No mention of the fact that his attackers were violent criminals with records...even including child rape. No mention that they were chasing after him down, trying to kill him. No mention that they were smashing a skateboard into his head while he was on the laying on the ground. No mention that his attackers were also armed and threatening him. Aaron56 isn't concerned with any of that.

@Aaron56 is "concerned" that not sending Kyle to prison will set some kind of scary "precedent". What Aaron56 is actually concerned about that he just doesn't want you to be allowed to defend yourself when his antifa buddies attack you. He doesn't want your children to be able to defend themselves when his pedophile buddies attack your little ones. That's what Aaron56 is concerned about.
I wonder what religion allows a person to bear false witness against another?
No matter, I now understand you very clearly. **You are now Ignored**

I don't understand the argument "a 17 year old shouldn't have been there with a gun".
17 year Olds can join the military. If they can do that, then they should also be able to join a militia to defend a city against rioters.
You are exactly right...
Some of the members of the National Guard they call up are going to be 17.

Where 17 year olds are not the most mature cognitively. (Doesn't happen until 30-something) they are capable of doing the job competently. (As was seen by Kyle's stunning example)

Now the only difference between what happened to Rittenhouse and the others who were similarly armed was that they got Kyle isolated and then ambushed him.

Kyle and his buddies didn't train together to not let that happen.
(As was witnessed several times...they isolated themselves regularly and did not practice situational awareness)

A tiny bit of training and following it would have made a world of difference.

And this is something that youth groups can actually train to be quite effective with and not need firearms at all. A few hastily made shields and some training and the rioters can be repulsed quite easily. Civilians aren't required to follow the same rules as police or National Guard when defending their own property...they can be much more deadly within the confines of the law and morality.

And therein is where this all starts to fall apart.
Had he stayed home (after all, at 17 years old during the time he was breaking curfew!) he would not have been a position where he felt he had to defend himself.
This whole D**N thing is a set up by the Demoncratic party!!!
Majority of the people in the riots were bused in (and no doubt paid to be there causing trouble!)
You had people strategically set up around the area to film and look for bad situations gone worse.
What media is not telling you is that all around town (Kenosha) they have posters up with images of people asking for help identifying who they are. The problem? EVERY SINGLE ONE was "masked up" and unidentifiable.
Kyle was an easy target, no mask, several video "interviews" (with people he didn't know!) that got his name/information documented. I have no doubt that they were told to follow him around and "keep an eye on him"
When all was said and done, and the night was over it was easy to identify Kyle over anyone wearing a mask/facial covering.

His dad lives in Kenosha, so I guess it would be more accurate to say "how many want our 17 year olds standing side by side with their father and uncle to protect the family business from rioters?
He does not have a family business here in Kenosha.
Though it was a nice try, and nice line to try and cover ones self.
Consider this, if there really were a family business in danger then wouldn't one want to stay on the property/premises to protect it? NOT be out wandering around the streets?

I have heard a lot of falsehoods about this trial from every side. I heard repeatedly about how he came across state lines and had no business to be there. Now it turns out his dad lives there, he travelled 20 miles and the people he shot came from much further away and truly did have no business being there.

I was told he was a MAGA supporter, right wing extremist and white supremacist and yet there was no evidence of any of that presented during the trial that I am aware of.

I was told that the gun he had violated Wisconsin law in several ways, and yet those charges were dropped because they aren't true.

It was inferred that if you invoke your right to say nothing to the police it means you are guilty, and yet that turns out to be a very serious lie that should have caused a mistrial.

I was told that he was a white supremacist who came to shoot black people, and yet what they didn't tell me was that everyone that he shot was white.

I was just told that the NBA was justified in promoting these riots over the shooting of Jacob Blake, an example of police brutality towards blacks. Biden said this even though we know they were responding to a call, they had a warrant out for him, and he was in the process of possibly kidnapping this girls kids, etc., etc.

I have also heard that he came to help with security that night because of the riot while you say he had no business being there. There are a lot of phony baloney stories running around. I suppose if the Kenosha police had done their job there would have been no need for the local people to guard the businesses and then Kenosha would not be the center of attention for the whole nation. You have made it quite clear you don't like us talking about Kenosha but as your very own prosecutor said "sometime you just need to take that beating".

This trial is very quickly becoming the proof of how corrupt and evil the system has become. The two prosecutors who are at the tip of the spear of this clown show are sadly an example of justice in Kenosha.

He is no EMT but he can be seen on footage offering medical aid to any that needed it (rioter or not). Also, he pulled a burning dumpster fire off the road and extinguished it, thereby pissing the rioters off. The defense made the case that is what triggered the pedophile to chase and try to attack him.

If you're commenting on the video of him running towards the police on the road, then I would argue that was the wisest thing he could have done considering a group of rioters were chasing him down saying, "get him!". A guy smashes him over the head with his skateboard while he is on the ground and tries to take his gun... I'm not sure what the rioter was thinking in all honesty.

Then we have bicep boy raise his hands up, gun still in hand, and then charges Kyle... Kyle turned it into a "bye-cep".

I think the reason for Kyle being on the street is more than justified. He was doing the exact opposite of what the rioters were trying to do.

Yes, everything that Biden and the NBA are against.

There's no way possible for Kyle to be breaking curfew.

It's as if his being invited to the car doctor location is a moot point. But it isn't. It's the whole reason the curfew charges were dropped by the judge. That's why the pictures were made of Kyle and the others was taken so that they couldn't get a curfew charge.

If you go over to a friend's place before a curfew...you cannot get charged. Same exact thing was true for Rittenhouse. And all Castle Doctrines apply to his being there during the riots.

If you charged him with breaking curfew then what about everyone else in that riot? The hypocrisy would have caused the whole country to explode with outrage.

This just in, the Mass Media and Joe Biden found guilty on all 5 counts!

Joe Biden's attorney responds that he is advising Joe to "just take the beating".

Some are projecting Kyle as the new owner of the Milwaukee Bucks basketball team.

So does this mean we are still allowed to defend ourselves from a mob trying to kill us?
Unfortunately it could take a year at least to have your case go before a court. It is sad that in clear as day case of self defense, Kyle had to spend time in jail, on bail, media discrimination, racism, mob threats, and a week long trial forcing him to relive that horrible night.
