I will say this to you.
They are in the hands of a God of compassion, mercy and love.

If they believed and were followers and became overwhelmed with trials and depression,God knows.

If they were living in unbelief then they had no relationship with God at all, and they still will have no relationship to him.

If they were believers no. The idea that suicide is a one way ticket to hell is actually a catholic belief and not in scripture. You know life can be very hard and even I about a year and a half ago attempted suicide I struggled with suicidal thoughts quite often and one day it just became to much I should have died but before I tried I admit if there was even a small chance it would be true i was scared and just begged God to forgive me.

Even Christians can struggle with suicide but God is not just a just God he is an understanding one as well he understands that sometimes life can be too much.

I am sorry to hear about your friends. To answer your question, nobody is in Hades forever.

If they rejected God's salvation in this life there is no second chance in the next. It's a sobering thought. Billy Graham preached the gospel to Marilyn Monroe. She rejected Jesus. A week later, she was dead. We are all born spiritually dead to God. I would not want a dead person in my home. Neither does God. We have the opportunity to accept Christ in this lifetime. And that's it. Once we die, it's judgement time. We face God in whatever condition we are when we die. Some will stand with great joy. Others will be terrified. Some will be welcomed into God's presence. Others will be sent away. God is perfectly fair and just.
