WRONG

The righteousness of the law is found in perfect obedience.

God sees his blood. Not our obedience.

Your filthy rags will be rejected by God as just that. Filthy rags.

Look to the spirit and stop looking to the law and trying to drag everyone down to self righteousness with you
Rev 19:8, And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

1Jo 3:7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Rom 5:19, For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Mat 5:6, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Jesus' blood does not only justify (as per Romans 5:9). It also sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29) and cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

While I will agree that we are justified by His blood.

God looks down on us and sees the blood and the imputed righteousness of His Son Jesus Christ when He looks down on those who have placed their faith and trust in Him.

We have an unshakable identity in Christ....that we are righteous....even when we blow it (Romans 4:5).

Sounds to me like a Once Saved Always Saved thing! In other words, it doesn't matter what you do now that you're saved.

Romans 7:14-25 is speaking of the law of sin and death which we are set free from when we submit to the law of the Spirit of life through faith in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2).

It is Paul using the literary tactic of IDENTIFICATION to define carnality 9Romans 7:14) in order that he might win the carnal person. He becomes as weak in order that he might gain the weak (1 Corinthians 9:22).

That Paul is not actually carnal when he pens this is evident in that he is penning holy scripture. For it is written in 2 Peter 1:20-21 that holy scripture comes about when holy men of God are inspired by the Holy Ghost to speak or write what has been written.

There are three parts of the Law of Moses, the moral Law -- the Ten Commandments, the civil Law, and the sacrificial Law. The apostle Paul tells us "the Law was our schoolmaster that points us to Christ." .
I think it is more accurate to say there are two laws in the world: the laws governing the kingdom of heaven and the laws governing the kingdoms of the world.

God gave man the law of Moses, it was the heavenly law made flesh. There were fleshly commands and fleshly rewards. When Christ came, Christ brought in the law of heaven. We are to choose between the laws of our temporary worldly life and the laws of our heavenly eternal life. We are told to obey the worldly laws all we can, but if there is a conflict then our true kingdom is in heaven and we are to choose those laws.

Choosing these laws instead of worldly laws is not easy at all. We are told that one day we must give up our worldly life to being murdered, even, if we choose God's ways. Sometimes, today, it sometimes means giving up that new car so we can have something to give to those who are hungry.

Christ gave these laws to us, the four gospels are full of them. We are told we can't do this because we are human, but we are to live in a state of repentance. We are only asked to truly want to obey these laws, and Christ forgives so we have eternal life always.

Actually there are possibly ten parts to the Law of Moses:
1. Laws pertaining to the tabernacle and temple.
2. Laws pertaining to the priests.
3. Laws pertaining to the Levites.
4. Laws pertaining to the sacrifices and offerings.
5. Laws pertaining to the feasts, festivals, and holy days.
6. Moral and civil laws.
7. Criminal laws.
8. Dietary laws.
9. Laws for kings and warfare.
10. The Ten Commandments

And you are right, it's not easy to do being in this fallen condition.

Yes, you could break it down to this! Usually the 3-part will suffice and under discussion or teaching it's broken down.

AMEN!
THIS STATEMENT IS TRUTH VETTED BY Scripture

{{ With Christ having fulfilled the law,by faith in him,the law is fulfilled in us.}}
END OF STORY!

However if you want to heap to yourself troubles......try keeping the whole Mosiac Law all if it!

If you do chose being obedient to the law and reject grace, you do so at your own peril

The law, for the believer who knows that he knows that he knows that he is justified through faith in the blood of Christ, and not by the works of the law, the law becomes a set of wisdom principles and is no longer a condemning taskmaster.

Whereas, if we sought to be justified by the law, we would be required to keep the whole of it perfectly from conception into eternity...if we know that we have been justified through faith in Jesus' blood, we are set free to be able to look into the perfect law of liberty and to continue in it (James 1:25); and thereby be blessed.

While there is a curse on those who seek to be justified by the law (Galatians 3:10),

Those who obey the commandments out of love for Jesus (John 14:15, 15:10) are truly blessed.

Because we will have the blessing that comes with walking according to wisdom as opposed to living as a fool.

Sounds to me like a Once Saved Always Saved thing! In other words, it doesn't matter what you do now that you're saved.
Sounds to me like a water down the law thing. You can sin all you want as long as you do not commit the pet sins. and your ok if you just say your sorry.

Either way, Thank you for proving me right about you. Had you pegged awhile ago.

Your trying to find righteousness by ten commands

Not by seeking after the things of the spirit.

Your going about it the wrong way.

Instead of looking to God and others

Your looking to the law and self

One day you will get it. If not in this lifetime in the next

Those scriptures aren't saying what you are trying to make them say.

Galatians 3:10 DOESN'T say that there is a curse on those who seek to be JUSTIFIED by the Law. It says there is a curse on those who look back to the Law to try and be obedient to it. It is your WISH that it would say "seek to be justified" but that doesn't make it so.

And with that you also make James 1:25 contradict LOTS of scripture because you conflate the Law of Liberty with the 10 commandments. Again, conflating wishes with actual facts.

Those who THINK they obey commandments are deluded and don't know what Christianity is.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

You can't just decide to do that. You can't look to the 10 commandments and decide you are as wise and powerful as God. God doesn't allow it.

No flesh (that's us) shall glory in His Presence.

People mostly don't have a big enough respect and understanding of the Law.

This causes a smaller respect and understanding of what the Lord Jesus Christ is due for what He has done for us.

Eternally Grateful was right. Gods Standard for Righteousness is ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. The UNBLEMISHED (Perfect) Lamb of God.

But you were right as well. That Absolute Perfection is REQUIRED by the 10 commandments. It is a Spiritual Perfection and not a carnal one. It is one we can't attain by our own understanding and our own strength. No matter how wise or strong we think we have become in our Christian walk.

What we are talking about is justification by faith and not by the works of the Law.

But you will continue with your false accusations because you love it!

If you are so sure that JBF has bound himself to the Law for justification before God, show us that in his posts and explain how that is legalism!

You keep saying it over and over again, I have failed to see it, so please show us, e-g!

When Christ fulfilled the law, Christ filled every prophecy that was made of him. When Christ fulfilled whatever was prophesied now happened. Nothing ended because he fulfilled the law, Christ himself said so.

Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
