I like how it's called "digital drivers license" when it's really a complete file of private information.

I think the buried lead is that when the cops pull up your driver's license it connects them to the file they have on you which is far more detailed than you ever knew. Combine all the data mining from social networks, etc and it is incredible the level of detail they have on you.
Because the cops really need to know our dietary preferences.

They know when you go to bed, how long you sleep, when you wake up, what path you take to work, every place you ever drive your car, your phone pings your location every 15 minutes, etc., etc, etc.
Sounds meaningless, really? Suppose they decide the church you meet with is some kind of rebellious group that won't take the mark of the beast and won't worship the antichrist? It will be a snap for them to track and catch every single member of this rogue group.
Suppose these people you meet with in this underground group are spouting all kinds of rebellious teachings like "Jesus is Lord" and "there is no other salvation except through Jesus". They will need to shut that stuff down immediately.
Also, they want to know who has a gun? Who goes to a shooting range if they don't own a gun? Who goes hunting without a gun? If you never visit a shooting range or go hunting chances are good you don't have a gun. People who hunt are likely to have pictures on social media or talk about it. People who go to a shooting range will often have friends that do to, if they can get a handle on all your friends on social media they will get a very good idea of who you are.
Don't worry about the social score, as long as you aren't a "Jesus Freak" telling people they need to get saved and that Jesus is the savior and the only way to salvation is the blood of Christ you will be fine. According to the Noahide laws that the UN passed all religions are fine except for evangelical Christians who preach that Jesus is the only way. They are calling that "idolatry" because you claim Jesus is God and the penalty for that is death.
If you are a Jesus freak don't worry about it, He is the savior and you will be raptured before they start chopping heads off.
