dearest child, i saw these requests when you posted them, and i have prayed for you.

because i'm an old woman, i shall bore you with an old lady story.

i think it was Luther who said he preached the Gospel to himself every day, because he forgot it every day.
when i'm distressed by what seems to be a frowning providence, i go to the mirror and give myself a stern lecture.

i look myself in the eyes and say, "God loves you. and He knows what he's doing."
either of those sentences alone is Good News, but together they reassure me things will be all right.

i trust in God's goodness you're feeling better. ♥
