I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a direct result of being baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins; unless I received that baptism before that (which I may have; since I received the gift of tongues long before being baptized in Jesus' Name).

Acts 10 is pertinent to the question.

While if anyone has doubt as to whether they have the Holy Ghost or not, they can remove all doubt by fulfilling the condition of the promise found in Acts 2:38-39.
Nope

thats 2 baptisms my friend. Paul makes it clear there is one baptism.

Eph 4: 5 one lord. One faith one baptism. Not two. Not three not many.

One

Again, when were you saved, When you were baptised by man or by God?

And I did not suggest that you suggested that.
Lol

one thing is for sure. You can not have a serious conversation with you. You deny everything.

you kept saying you have already been baptized in jesus name you can‘t go back. I never asked you to go back.

I have already answered you that my salvation began when I first called on the name of the Lord.

What kind of inquisition is this?

What effort is there in submitting to baptism in Jesus' Name?
What effort is there for a 8 day old baby to go get circumcised?

As for baptism. You live in a day and age where you get in a care and drive, there is hardly any effot. But still more than the 8 day jew

What of those who had to walk for miles to find a body of water? Or those who were baptized in ice cold water, because they did nto have heaters like we have?

There is actually quite a but of effort

Not of works lest anyone should boast

why are you boasting of your baptism? And not in Gods?

I believe that I have the Holy Ghost because I fulfilled the condition of the promise.

To deny that would be going backwards.

It is the effort of the minister doing the baptizing, not of the recipient.

You said you started to be saved.

You say I must be baptised to recieve remission of sin. No one is saved unless they recieve remission of sin.

so when did you recieve forgiveness of sin, When God baptised you into Christ his death and burial where your sins were washed away

or when you were baptsed in water?

So you repented in faith and called out on the name of the lord Amd that was all right?

It was the effort of the priest doing the circumcision not the effort of the 8 day year old kid

No one in the OT was saved by any work whatsoever. What makes you think God holds the New Testament church to a stricter standard and requires them to do work?

There are many baptisms. Water baptism is just one of them

did you know baptize is not even an english word?
Now you are contradicting yourself.

Previously you said that there is one baptism.

Therefore, if baptism in

1) water

2) the Holy Ghost; and,

3) fire

Are all baptism, it follows that they are intertwined to the extent that they are one.

Even three-in-one.

If you wish to judge my salvation based on something that I cannot change, beware lest you find that Jesus judges you in the same manner on your day of judgment.
You can change it though

You can repent, and place your faith in Jesus, and the cross alone for your salvation.

Even paul told the jews they could repent of their works.

I am simply proclaiming what scripture says on the issue, and therefore the Lord's judgments.

When we proclaim the Lord's judgments, we are not personally judging or pointing the finger at anyone.

Just like if I quote 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 to a homosexual, I am not judging him but proclaiming the judgment of the Lord.
Ok one more time.

You were baptized in the name of Jesus only per what Peter said in Acts
I was baptised into the name of Faher the Son and the Holy Spirit per what Jesus said.

Now you quote the homosexual, bad choice to make as we are talking about saved by water.

Anyway you are proclaiming the Lords judgment concerning baptism but you are not say it.

So on judgement day we are both standing before Jesus.

You have been baptized in the name of Jesus only for remission of sins and I have been baptized in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit per the words of Jesus.

Come on answer the question. You can do it.
If you cannot then you do not have a true conviction in the doctrine that you seem to promote.

The truth is for me I will go with what JESUS said concerning baptism.

The fact is that you and I believe in Jesus and just want to be like him.
I will rest in that and walk in it.
Just like you want to as well.

My faith is wholly in the Cross.

I believe that some enter into a relationship with the Cross when they are baptized.

I did not say that paul did.

Eph 4: one Lord, one faith, one baptism

There are many baptisms. (Johns baptism, jesus baptism, the baptism of the great commissioning, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The baptism into moses. Etc etc etc) But only one saves..

please open your mind. stop trying to poke holes in what I have said and listen

Is he condemned for that, since he has no control over that outcome?
Nope
but he was not saved by that either

they were saved by the faith of abraham, A faith that works, but salvation had nothing to do with any works.
