Has anyone heard of The Giant Company? Here's their website: https://thegiantcompany.ie/

The following video describing the Giants and the philosophy behind them is a little unsettling. It's covered with digital screens that can change into an image of anyone. A person can step into a booth and be scanned and the Giants will change into an image of that person. It can move its head and arms, and even speak and sing. Gives a whole new meaning to "telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast."

It's not clear if any of them have actually gone up yet but the plan is to have 21 up in 2021. I don't think they'll make it, but no doubt they's being going up soon.

Is this supposed to be in the US or the UK?

Made me think of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream.

Amazing how they're setting this idol up to be worshipped...

The Giant will be the tallest moving statue in the world and it is set to come to Dublin in 2021.

Dublin businessman Paddy Dunning, who was the brains behind Dublin’s Wax Museum and the Button Factory, has high hopes as he is set to launch the tallest moving statue in the world.

Inspired by the Gulliver’s Travels by Irish author Jonathan Swift, The Giant is set to be the world’s tallest moving statue and Dublin’s newest tourist attraction.

Standing at ten-stories tall, The Giant, which Dunning has been developing plans for over the past ten years, is certainly a futuristic visitor attraction concept.

Aside from standing at an impressive height over Ireland’s capital city, The Giant will be covered in LED pixels to give it the ability to transform into the form of any person from history from Albert Einstein to Beyonce, Spiderman to Superman.

The Dublin businessman’s high hopes don’t stop with Ireland’s capital city, but rather he hopes to bring the tallest moving statue in the world to aims to 21 sites in 21 cities around the world during 2021.

so much comes to mind and none of it good :cautious:
