Christian Zionism can be defined as Christian support for the Zionist cause — the return of the Jewish people to its biblical homeland in Israel. It is a belief among some Christians that the return of Jews to Israel is in line with a biblical prophecy, and is necessary for Jesus to return to Earth as its king. These Christians are partly motivated by the writings of the Bible and the words of the prophets. However, they are also driven to support Israel because they wish to “repay the debt of gratitude to the Jewish people for providing Christ and the other fundamentals of their faith,” and to support a political ally, according to David Brog, author Standing With Israel: Why Christians Support the Jewish State.

Christian Zionists interpret both the Torah and the New Testament as prophetic texts that describe future events of how the world will one day end with the return of Jesus from Heaven to rule on Earth. Israel and its people are central to their vision. They interpret passages from the books of Ezekiel, Daniel, and Isaiah as foreshadowing the coming Christian era. The New Testament Book of Revelation is read by many Christians as a prophetic text of how the world will be in the End Times.

Zionism of Israel raises many problems and has been the cause of thousands of deaths. The United Nations, not God, reestablished the Nation of Israel in 1948. After the establishment of Israel, Arabs were pushed out of their lands that they'd occupied for many generations. Their lands were given to Jews from Russia and other foreign lands who'd never set foot in Palestine. After the six day war, Israel claimed sovereignty over lands that Moslems held to be holy. Muslims currently living in Israel do not have the right of citizenship, even though they have generations who've lived there. Israelis treat Muslims as fourth class citizens.

Since 1948, the Jews in Israel have held all the military and political power and have treated Muslims poorly at best.

Keep this in mind. The Muslims don't see Jesus as God, but they do see Him as a great and holy prophet. On the other hand, Israelis/Jews see Jesus as a complete fraud and a liar.

And, almost 100% of Muslims believe in the One True God, while only seeing Jesus as a prophet.

So, my question to you is, why are you a Zionist? Keep in mind that God promised Israel to the Jews but dispersed them many times for their lack of belief.

1st. Zionism is a simply a policy for establishing and developing a national homeland for Jews in Palestine. As a Christian Zionst, I believe as the Bible states that God gave the land as promised to the dececdents of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob; not Ishmael.

Are you a believer in replacement theology ? Supersessionism, also called replacement theology, is a Christian doctrine which asserts that the New Covenant through Jesus Christ supersedes the Old Covenant, which was made exclusively with the Jewish people. Those you believe the Christian God changes His mind dispite what the Bible says. Early Jewish Christians referred to themselves as "The Way" (ἡ ὁδός), probably coming from Isaiah 40:3, "prepare the way of the Lord." Did anyone know that?

"The Way" is how Jesus referred to himself, saying: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6).

It is also the phrase used in the Bible to describe the developing church as a movement of Jesus Christ. Even today, all believers in Christ are part of His movement and he is our head pastor and leader. Therefore as we join His movement we are to be the physical expression of what God is like so that the fullness of Jesus Christ can be seen and heard through us.

Throughout the book of Acts people who were followers of Jesus weren't called Christians but they were called followers of The Way or people of The Way. They were not simply committed to a cultural practice or obligation, but they lived in complete devotion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Jewish people view Jesus as a charlatan and a liar, simple as that. They have become a secular state in which most are agnostic/atheistic. A number of times, in the Old Testament, God expelled the Israelites from Israel because they had grievously sinned against Him.

In the New Testament, Jesus foretold of the Jews losing their inheritance.
Jesus Himself told a parable explaining the destruction of Jerusalem and the rise of "the times of the Gentiles." It's the parable of the vineyard and its tenants, recorded in all three synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke). Clearly, this parable was very key for the early church's understanding of the kingdom of God. In the parable, the tenants who have been working the vineyard symbolize the Jewish leaders. They killed the owner's servants, who represent the prophets, and then they conspired to kill the vineyard owner's son and heir. Jesus makes it clear in the parable that the vineyard owner will judge the wicked tenants, take away their share in the vineyard and give it to others.

On his final entry into Jerusalem, Jesus told the women not to weep for Him, but to weep for themselves and Jerusalem. Jesus foretold that Jerusalem/Israel would be completely destroyed because they didn't recognize the time of His coming. And that's exactly what happened in the year 70AD. Israel was destroyed/scattered and the Temple was completely destroyed.

Two thousand years later the Jews control Israel. They were ceded the land/country by the United Nations in 1948. Since that time they still believe that Jesus is a charlatan/liar and they despise Jesus to this day. Jews reject Jesus outright.

The Zionist movement of today has nothing to do with God, only a movement for a secular nation for Jews. Don't confuse this with God's will.

Despite all I have written above, I want the Jewish people to have their State of Israel as it is today. The USA needs them in the Middle East. They are a hope for democracy in an area of the world that knows of only brutal dictatorships. I am not anti Jewish/semetic, but I only support them only in a secular sense.

God always keeps His promises and He kept those that you've listed above. However, those promises have nothing to do with the Nation of Israel as it stands today. Instead, God was promising deliverance of the Jews that had been taken captive by the Assyrians. And He did deliver them. But keep in mind that it was God that allowed them to be taken captive by the Assyrians due to their faithlessness and idolatry toward God.

Your biblical quotes were from the Old Testament and concerned the situation of that day. God kept His promises and reconciled the Jews that were captured by the Assyrians with the tribe of Judah. But it has nothing to do with the Zionism of Israel today. Your post is smoke and mirrors.

“Christian Zionism” strikes me as the epitome of doing the wrong thing for the right reasons. We are called to spread the gospel and serve the needy. While there is room for other concerns, if they supersede the primary concern, something has gone off the rails… or will very soon.
