Good - Now which Jersusalem and Temple are you talking about?

1. The New Jerusalem will be a heavenly body replacing the sun.
2. There will be no temple in it at that time (although there is a Sanctuary there right now).
3. God and the Lamb will be the Light of that city.
4. That light will also illuminate the earth.
5. There will be a redeemed and restored Jerusalem (Zion) on earth along with the saved nations.
6. There will be a perfect temple within that Jerusalem.

You could start with Isaiah 2.

1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Zion = Jerusalem on earth
The house of the God of Jacob (the Lord's house) = God's perfect temple in Jerusalem
Jerusalem = redeemed and restored Jerusalem
O house of Jacob = redeemed and restored Israel (the 12 tribes)
"Let us walk in the light of the Lord" = God being the light of the heavenly New Jerusalem, which will then give light to the earth (by replacing the sun)

"Jesus was the body" is not only false but heretical. Jesus of Nazareth was FULLY GOD and FULLY SINLESS MAN at one and the same time. "The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us" means that the eternal Word of God -- Christ -- became a Man and dwelt among men. But He had already existed as the Son of God from eternity past.

The Bible says that God calls things that have not happened yet as though they already happened for if it is a plan of God to happen in the future it is the same as if it happened in the beginning for it will surely come to pass with no hindrance.

Which the Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world even though it did not happen until the future.

And the prophets blood was slain from the foundation of the world even though it was in the future.

And Jesus is the beginning of creation although the man Christ Jesus was not born until the future, and Jesus as God was not created.

And all the works were finished before the foundation of the world although they were future events.

The Old Testament says Adam was created in the image of God.

The New Testament says Adam was created in the figure of Jesus.

The image of God is the image of Christ.

God already had the plan to come in the future in flesh before He started creation and created Adam in the image that He would show up in the future which is an innocent nature in flesh.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

God had the plan to come in the future in flesh before He started creation.

Which this can be read as,

In the beginning was the plan of God to come in the future in flesh, and that plan was already with God before He laid down the foundation of the world, and that plan was God manifest in flesh.

All things were created with the plan of God coming in the future in flesh and without that plan God would of not created anything He created for Jesus is the reason creation is successful, eternal life, and to judge the angels and people.

All creation hinges on Jesus Christ which is why Jesus is the beginning of creation even though the man Christ Jesus was not born until 4000 years because God calls things that have not happened yet as though they already happened so it is the same as if the man Christ was already born in the beginning.

Which some people misinterpret John 17 to believe that when Jesus speaks of being in the beginning and having glory with the Father that He is speaking as Him being God.

But Jesus was speaking as the man Christ Jesus for He said that the saints can have that same glory and behold His glory.

Which the man Christ Jesus is speaking that the saints can have eternal life and a glorified body in heaven like Him and behold His glory as they see Him sitting on the throne in heaven.

Which the man Christ Jesus can have that glory in the beginning and be considered as being in the beginning because God calls things that have not happened yet as though they already happened.

The "simple English" states that "the Word" was God in the beginning. The was indicates past tense; the beginning is past tense to John, and to us. It says nothing of "is no more". Further, John wrote all this after Jesus died and resurrected; his is an informed and anointed perspective on the subject.

If you continue through to verse 14, you will see that the Word is Jesus Himself, which means that Jesus is God. The "He" of verse 2 is the Word of verse 1, as is the "him" of verse 3, and the "he" of verses 10 and 11, the "him" and "he" of verse 12, and the Word of verse 14. If you can come to another conclusion, I'd like to hear it.

yes I agree the word became Jesus, (flesh) but what was the word before it became Jesus?..............the word was GOD

The Word is "he", not "it". "He" was with God in the beginning.
