Depends on what the feeling is and why you feel it. Sometimes God doesn't talk because there's nothing to say. No course correction needed: Sail on.

Do you feel like you're stuck where you are and you want a change?

Do you feel like you want to stay put for a while but you keep getting shifted in to ever-more-uncomfortable situations?

Do you feel like there is a need in your life God is ignoring?

I would do the same thing as I would feeling distant with any family member. I’d call. Separation occurs because we stop connecting. Take time every day to pray. It usually works best for me in the morning before I eat anything.

I always remember Prov 16:9 that we are walking on the path that is set before us. Keep walking and communicating through prayer and bible reading. Bible reading needs to be considered/meditated instead of just something to check off list of daily chores. I know sometimes hard, perseverance and the need to wait causes the most challenge. Sometimes God is challenging us or testing us to see if we try to solve our problems ourselves without going to Him first and placing matters in His Hands.

First realise that God has not left you. If there is a problem, it's on your side. We can lose fellowship but not relationship. Unconfessed sin or refusing to obey God on an issue (also sin) will leave you feeling distant.

A deeper issue, one not your fault, is God wants us to live by faith. Young (and not so young) Christians will go through a patch where God seems to have gone missing. If we have been having fellowship and studying God's word, we will know that God has not left us. Some Christians get hooked on the feeling of joy and peace. They begin to value the feeling more than the Lord Himself. We must learn to live by principle, not by feelings. Emotions are up and down. Even the weather affects many people. God wants stable and dependable servants that He can trust to obey Him whether it feels good or not.

People who live from meeting to meeting, getting hyped up by the singing and then going into a sulk at the slightest inconvenience, are useless in God's kingdom. Those who trust and obey no matter what, are of great value in God's work.

pray - call

Its not like you have to pay to pray or wonder if He will ever pick up... you can do it right now.

If you cant think of what to say remind yourself of Gods word in the Bible. There is a reason Christians have Bibles in their homes....not just there to look pretty on the shelf. If you dont have a copy you can read online but usually you can find a free copy somewhere!

All hotels if they are good ones have them...
