Back in March, and again in August, Trump told his supporters to get vaccinated, and that the vaccines are safe.

So why are so many Trump supporters still saying they are not safe and won't get the jab?

Because of the data that supports that, the lies that have been told, the illogical approach, and most of all because many Trump supporters are Christians who know the Bible and able to think for themselves rather than just blindly being obedient to the Mainstream media.

What makes you think Trump supporters aren't getting the jab? Black people and Latinos are actually the largest part of people who aren't getting vaxxed. But 1 in 4 medical workers aren't vaxxed either. So please stop listening to liberal talking points trying to blame someone, anyone but China for Covid. Israel has 80% of their people vaxxed and still have the highest rates in the world I heard last night. So lets stop with the blame and talking points. Thanks.

I think the real truth is that no one is willing to admit they voted for Biden.

Where does the Bible say anything about vaccines? Mainstream media? You mean anything that contradicts your speculations and overactive imagination? If Christians fall for the anti vax lies and deceptions, God help them when a less obvious deception comes along. Christians are supposed to love truth. The conspiracy theories around vaccines are anything but truth.

Since when is recovering from a viral infection and thinking that you will therefore have developed immunity a conspiracy theory?

If a vaccine is leaky, which this one is admittedly, it will allow you to still be infected. True it will confer some protection (initially) but it will also favor those variants that it does not protect against. That is the truth. That is what we have taught for years (I am a science teacher). That is not a conspiracy theory, this vaccine would have been most effective if they had used it sparingly on those who were most at risk. Another truth that us Christians love.

But since we are talking about truth we now know that Fauci is a liar. Not little white lies, but flagrant lies to Senate hearings which are criminal. Again, no conspiracy theory, just proven fact.

But since we are talking about conspiracy theorists lets talk about the biggest one, Steve Bannon started his podcast in January of 2020 called "Warroom Pandemic" spreading the paranoid theory that the Covid pandemic (wasn't even a pandemic at that point) was created in the Wuhan Bioweapons lab. He was the butt of all the Mainstream media who ridiculed, and mocked him to scorn. However, he was right and they were exposed as fake news.

But since we are talking about fake news where does the Bible even mention the mainstream media? Try looking under "false prophets".

But since we are talking about the Bible where does the Bible talk about injecting something into you to heal you even if it were poisonous? Try looking at the symbol for medicine, the bronze serpent on a cross. The serpent's poison is tried by fire (bronze) so that it is no longer poison. That is how we used to make vaccines.

People should use good judgment and common sense, as with anything. But I'll be honest, some of the theories and speculation I've heard around the vaccine seem nothing short of paranoid delusions. The vaccine has become a political football which people are milking for all it's worth.

Not many saying this, very few. Regarding safety, a normal vaccine is tested for 15 years before being greenlight, but even that is not the issue for most. The issue is the liberty issue, principles, american authorities do not ask people to take them, they create obstacles and persecute to get people to succumb to the pressure, christians will not do that. You got the vaccine? You are safe, end of story, let them be. There are a thousand reasons for not doing what you want them to do. Listen to them, ask them. They have told you over and over.

Everyone I know that won't get vaxed is a Trump supporter. The most vocal anti-vaxers are Trump supporters. Yes there are non-supporters out there not getting vaxed either, but the ones who are pushing it are. At least in my experience. I just to have puzzle at what drives it.

Trump supporters were ready to hang hang Trump's no 1 among others because they stood up for what's right. Trump's own judges and appointees and sycophants told him he has no case, yet they cling to the lie that he does. And, sadly and scarily at the same time, many of those who cling to the lie are, or claim to be Christian.

Man, I get it. The liberals, with their abdication of personal responsibility, their policies of enablement, their promotion of abortion, their poly/a-theism free for all, their embrace of immorality - These are not values Christians should be promoting.

But the conservative embrace of self idolatry, the abandonment of the poor and sick, the mammon worship, the lies and deceit - those are not values Christians should be supporting either. Yet so many do. And vehemently. Even when their own people tell them not to.

The trouble is, only one of these philosophies claims it is from God. And that is what makes it more dangerous.

People think the government deceives them, and it does.

But the deception God warns us against is being led away from Him.

Every time I hear a Christian talk about their rights and their freedom, it just makes my spirit cringe. Jesus gave up His rights, Jesus gave up His freedom, to save just a small portion of His fellow man. And to see so many who claim Christ's Name claim self over others - over the truth and generally doing the right thing for your fellow man...

Those that they follow? There's your false prophets, there's your deceiving spirits leading the elect astray.

Spoiler alert - those spirits work for both sides.

1. It's a new administration. People reverse course on policy based on who is making and executing the policy, so it isn't entirely illogical. You see it over on the blue side as well. This time last year Trump was boasting of a vaccine being close at hand. Joe Biden said it wasn't possible to produce a vaccine that quickly. Kamala Harris ended up sounding like a rank anti-vaxxer.

2. The smarter anti-vaxers were always going to be anti-vax. They realize they can support someone while disagreeing with them.

3. The CDC, WHO, and other administrative figures such as Anthony Fauci have lied so often, it is understandable why people are not prepared to trust a vaccine promoted by them. A trip down memory lane:

A. They told us masks don't work. Then they do work. Then that they work so well, you should wear two.

B. They told us the virus didn't leak from a lab. Then it did.

C. America wasn't funding gain-of-function research in a Chinese lab. Then it turns out our government did, but pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

D. We had to stay indoors two weeks to a month to "flatten the curve." Then we have to stay indoors indefinitely. Then we have may or may not have to make COVID monasticism a cyclical thing.

E. If you are vaccinated, you don't have to wear a mask. Then...nevermind about that, put the muzzle back on.

F. It's safe to go to the polls again in California. Then Governor Newsom started declining in the polls and mail-in ballots became necessary.

G. Children are not spreading COVID 19, they said. Then they deck out every public school like the quarantine zone in ET and ruin a precious two years of childhood.

I really could go on with the inconsistencies, but then there are outright absurdities. A good example was the 10:00pm bar curfew in Virginia. Do diseases spread more after 10:00pm? If people are out until 10:00pm what difference does it make if they stay later? How many Virginians are out after 10:00pm anyway?

Then there is how COVID has given every petty tyrant (some call them Karens) a blank check. Which brings me to point 4.

4. COVID may not be over Red America, but Red America is over COVID. We have long been ready to assume the risk to socialize, worship, do business, and have culture again. We suspect that this won't be over even if we take the vaccine. It will only be over when they get tired of pushing us around and go home.

We live in different worlds then. Most of the un-vaxed I have met are black Democrats here in Vegas.

I can't blame them. The last time the government mandated a "vaccine," it didn't work out too well for them.

Everyone I know that won't get vaxed is a Trump supporter.
