We will never forget the 3000 people who died on that day. Whether those that died from the tragedy, or the heroes that saved lives, many giving their own. It's a pity that after 20 years of blood and toil, we are squarely began where we began with the Taliban in power again. My we take time today to stop ... and remember, and then live our lives as if it was our last. May we spread the Good News wherever we can. May we lift up those in need. May we cherish our loves ones and make every moment count. And may God bless America.

NEVER FORGET!

I was discussing this with someone just before 9/11, and they made the comment "well, at least there are 3,000 new angels in Heaven now......"

I guess my facial expression revealed my thoughts because they questioned if I believed those lost on 9/11 were all in Heaven. I had to be truthful and tell them that I did not. Not ALL of the 3,000 went to Heaven, for not all were Christian disciples of Jesus.

How one dies does not play into a persons salvation. IMO, every death is tragic, and while this was certainly one of the most tragic in recent memory, it is by no means the worst that has ever happened. I asked the person if a plane with 240 people on board crashed, would they all go to Heaven? I listed a few other tragic ways numerous people could die, asking the same question. I believe they understood, finally, but they were not pleased with me. I guess they thought I was trying to "lessen the tragedy" of 9/11, BUT I WAS NOT. Just wanting to clarify that a "secondary tragedy" of 9/11 was the death of those who WERE NOT saved.

I pray earnestly for ALL the families and friends of those lost on 9/11, and I pray earnestly that God will make His presence known in their lives, and that they realize just how much they need Him in their lives.

Still........

NEVER FORGET!
