WASHINGTON, Sept 9 (Reuters)

"President Joe Biden will require all federal employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and the U.S. Department of Labor will issue a rule requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to have their workers vaccinated or tested weekly, officials said on Thursday.

The new measures, which Biden was due to lay out in remarks at 5 p.m. ET (2100 GMT), cover about two-thirds of all U.S. employees, part of a broader, more aggressive attempt to get Americans vaccinated amid a surge in COVID-19 cases from the fast-spreading Delta variant.
Under Biden's plan, the administration would also require vaccinations for more than 17 million healthcare workers at hospitals and other institutions that participate in Medicare and Medicaid social programs for poor, disabled and older Americans, senior administration officials said."

More unvaxxed Americans will take vaccine to keep their jobs and support their families, unless the states are able to successfully halt the mandate. Federal employees will take the vaccine to keep the pension and benefits (just like the military). The vaccines have been out for over a year, over 170 million Americans vaccinated, so people feel more confident now about safety.

I'll be glad when the other pandemic of idiotic conspiracy theories is over. There is unfortunately no vaccine against it.

You must have gotten that wrong, I heard Biden just recently say that he would not be mandating the vaccine. Oh wait, that was more than a month ago.

Which does raise a few more questions, will they prevent the unvaccinated from using hospitals? Maybe we'll hear more next week?

Will they put the unvaccinated into quarantine camps? Maybe we'll hear more in October?

Will they humanely execute the unvaccinated? Maybe that will be his 2022 plan for reelection?

Biden will double down on the unvaccinated, whatever that may mean. That is a hallmark trait of Democrats as they like government power/control.

Ah yes, the main reason many people voted for Biden, a chance for America to return back to normal. "Now we have an adult back in the Whitehouse".

There are 80 million Americans who are unvaccinated. Allow them to fire you for this. What happens to the US economy and that $6 trillion dollar stimulus plan when 80 million taxpayers and consumers leave?

How exactly do you pay to house 80 million in "quarantine camps"?

If he was at 39% approval yesterday, imagine what his approval rating will be then.

THEY TOLD BIDEN NO
should be interesting

you simply cannot believe anything coming out of the WH these days

USPS exempt from Biden vax mandate for federal workers

Neither snow, nor rain … nor presidential proclamation.

President Biden on Thursday mandated COVID-19 vaccines for almost all federal workers, but the more than 600,000 letter carriers and administrative staff of the US Postal Service won’t have to get a shot.

The exemption was first reported by Washington Post postal reporter Jacob Bogage, who reported that a White House official told him that “we strongly encourage them to comply with these standards” anyhow.

Biden on Thursday also announced a new Labor Department policy requiring workers at private companies with 100 or more employees to get vaccinated or submit to weekly testing. The USPS exemption was initially believed to allow postal workers to duck the private-sector mandate, too.

More than 600,000 US Postal Service employees won’t be forced to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

REUTERS
But nearly four hours after that understanding was reported, the White House issued a clarification saying that postal workers will have a choice between getting vaccinated and getting tested once a week, just like workers at large companies. well they had to come back with something

“USPS is not included in the executive order requiring vaccination of Federal employees. USPS has a separate statutory scheme and is traditionally independent of federal personnel actions like this,” a Biden administration official said.

He added: “That said, USPS is strongly encouraged to comply. Also, [the Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration] will cover USPS through the [emergency temporary standards], meaning that postal workers will be subject to the vaccination or testing policy announced today.”

I’m nauseous with the vaccinated Borg lemmings. I simply cannot fathom how so many can be this fearful, and frankly, stupid!

Last week I worked closely with a young lady, around 35. She’s the nicest person, and I warned her repeatedly not to get the gene therapy. She went and got it, although reluctantly about 2 - 3 months ago.

So last week I’m training her, and every couple of minutes she’s exiting the cleanroom to go blow her nose. She also has a sore throat and overall felt bad.

I thought it was possible she had the virus, but I didn’t really care if it was just a bad cold, I didn’t want to catch it.

She asked if I was bothered by it, and I simply quoted the company policy, that if you feel bad you should stay home or go home.

Sure enough she has Covid! And not just her, but her kids too. (12 - 15)

At least two other vaccinated here are out with the virus. One is hospitalized.

So all of you that got the shot, you are MORE likely to get the disease.

Don’t compound your ignorance with pride and inject more spike proteins into your system.

The vaccine does NOT work!

The Lord rebuke you! Who are you to question the faith of a brother in the Lord. Penn Ed and I have had many disagreements in the past. Like me, I respect his right to have an opinion different than mine... Without questioning his faith.

I'm missing why this post is offensive to you. I certainly don't see how this is questioning anyone's faith. Everyone must make this choice, the proclamation that "Jesus is Lord" is a public declaration of who you worship.

Most of the 80 million not taking the vaccine would be those who are unemployed, don't have a family to support, retired/elderly, own their own business, independently wealthy, etc. However, I would say that most people subject to a mandate will take the vaccine, like people in the military as there is no choice (or the choice to be fired). The approval will take a hit now, but it will rise again once things are back to "normal" (like Denmark and Sweden now).

I suspect once the rapture takes place many people will change their mind. Also the book of Mark has confirmed that anyone who has gotten the vaccine (handled snakes) can be healed by the Lord.

At the end of the age the Lord separates out the wheat from the tares. Biden would not have made this proclamation if it were not under the sovereignty of the Lord. They are separating out the wheat from the tares. Praise the Lord, let them know you worship Jesus, how easy is that. Everyone gets to make a strong testimony for the Lord. "Jesus is my savior, not this paycheck, Jesus is Lord, not Biden."

I humble myself. It seemed like a derogatory remark regarding someones faith. I apologize.

All four members of our household work for companies with more than 100 people.

And all four of us will refuse the experimental gene therapy.

For most of the private sector, there is the option for testing. However many other fields such as military, federal and medical, there is no option for this. So, the decision is more difficult.

Christians can claim religious exemption, however others who are nonreligious or other religions who purely want to avoid due to side effects, etc. do not have other options.
