Trump supports Covid vaccines, but not mandates

I think most people here agree mandate aren't the way to go. Where we might disagree is Trumps claim that:

Did Trump save millions of lives by making Covid-19 vaccines available earlier than expected or did he actually cost people their lives by doing so?

all the pro trumpers who are against the vax conveniently ignore that trump consistently pushes the vax....

He's out of office and people are still finding any opportunity to cast blame on Trump.

Agree, only this time some of his own followers are trying to cast blame on him and deny him the credit he deserves. Biden didn't do anything to help create the vaccines. He is incompetent. I think Trump pushing operation Warp Speed and closing the borders in Jan of 2020 even when people called him a racist for it are two of the biggest things he did to protect the American people.

It's crickets for them when it's brought up. Some people react similarly to Islamic extremists when their prophet Muhammud is mocked or criticized whenever you bring up the fact Trump is a vaxxer and a masker and is a huge reason the vaccines were created in record time.

Had he not fast tracked the vaccine his accusers would have claimed he could have done so if he cared about saving lives.
Same with the border closing.

Trump had his faults. However, he very often kept the promises he made the American people, unlike other politicians that make promises knowing they'll never be more than just a promise.

And, Trump was the only President that did act on the promise to recognize Jerusalem as of Israel.

Oh yeah, and unlike Obama who supported the enemy of America that are Islamic terrorists, Trump killed them.

Vaccines are not the problem. COVID is the problem. I don't know if Mr Trump's claims are valid. But for sure he did not cost people their lives.

It's crickets because first of all I don't consider myself a "Trump follower". There was an election we had a choice between two candidates. I felt the choice was obvious. Biden was despicable, a joke, and as corrupt as they come. Trump on the other hand did what he said he would do, had done an exemplary job on foreign diplomacy and on the economy. In my book you reelect presidents who are peacemakers, keep you out of war and are good for the economy.

The second reason it is crickets is because I don't know the answer to the question. I can't say for certain at this point if the vaccine is killing people or saving them. I can say for certain that the government has done absolutely nothing to give me any confidence in them or in it. Then if it does turn out the vaccine is killing people I don't know how much Trump was involved in the plot. Did he know or was he a useful idiot. For me it is much easier to say with certainty at this point that Fauci is a killer, and it is also much easier to say that Biden's policy of influencing people to mandate the vaccine is pure evil. Everyone who voted for Biden will have to answer for that choice.

I was and still is a Trump supporter. I am not anti-vaccines but will not be getting the current Covid 19 vaccines. Trump is not a doctor or can see the future. I disagree with the current government and cultural push to mandate the vaccine, so I resist it. I resist it also because I believe after getting covid naturally, my immune system's T and B cells will protect me. No need as I am young, healthy, and statistically my risks of serious illness or death is really low. But I believe those who may be at a higher risk should do what their doctor recommends.

I do believe Trump related to the vaccine has saved many lives in the elderly, immune compromised, or unhealthy population where Covid 19 was a high risk for serious illness.

But unfortunately we have no long term data and that will determine how safe this vaccine is. We have seen this CDC and FDA push back in the 1980s when the AIDS epidemic hit. They pushed a drug largely due to civilian and government pressure just to have terrible long term effects.

I'm hearing chatter he plans on running again in 2024. He doesn't have a chance if his former disciples don't vote for him the way they did in 2016 and 2020. People here seem to think anyone who is a "masker and vaxxer" are global elitist who want people to take the mark of the beast/lethal injection and he is absolutely a masker and a vaxxer.

Do you call people who voted for Trump disciples because those who voted for Biden are unbelievers?

After seeing the train wreck the demoncrats have thrust upon the world it wouldn't suprise me if the legitimate President Donald John Trump gets even more votes if he runs again. BUT will that be enough to win when the demoncrats do again what they did to steal the election in 2020 only x10.

His opinion concerning the vaccine do not influence me any more than the opinions of my VA Doctors, family or friends.

Personally, I will NOT take the shot simply because it could very well kill me........

However, I am not against vaccines, or any other person getting the shot. Each must decide for themselves.

Well, he ran as a constitutionalist, so of course. Will win in 2024 too, if the other side goes with the VP as their candidate. But I think Trump is too old to run, and it will probably be some associate. Perhaps Don jr. Or Gowdy
