Jesus says you can be forgiven seventy times seven so...I guess you can be saved over and over again. Its no hardship for Him to forgive you when you repent.

I want to know Jesus love for me. I have trouble with trusting him fully. I get worried he may turn me away . Still I never seen Jesus in the gospels reject or turn away a person who came to him sincerely which I have found comfort in.
Precious precious sister in Jesus and a beautiful daughter of the Father.
You are a daughter and the apple of his eyes.

So maybe we break down your post above and not in line with your post above.

You have trouble trusting Jesus and get worried he will he will turn you away.

Now that's common amongst Christians and can result for a number of reasons.
This ranges from upbringing to doctrine you have taught.

I'm a prime example of thoughts here.
Shocking upbringing, never knew my dad, thrown out by mum @14 years old.
The previous 13 years never told she loved me. Beat me, called me ***** so many times.
When thrown out was fostered by a Christian family.
Spent next 5 years being sexually abused by my foster dad.
When younger sexually abused by a cousin, when I mentioned this it was brushed over.
Sexually abused by an uncle. He masturbated against when I shared a bed with him (can't remember why were in the bed, I was about 9)

Now as a result of this I could not trust anyone.
I never had a positive male/female role in my early/teens to adult life.

So trusting God will be a result of this.

So let's look a what God says.

Psalms 55:22
22 Give your burdens to the Lord,
and he will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Isaiah 42:3-4
3 He will not crush the weakest reed
or put out a flickering candle.
He will bring justice to all who have been wronged.
4 He will not falter or lose heart
until justice prevails throughout the earth.
Even distant lands beyond the sea will wait for his instruction.”

1 Peter 5:7
7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Let's look at "I want to know Jesus love for me?
I can only assume that you are talking about emotions here?
I only base this on the word "Know"
Now if this is the case then we have a problem.
The problem is that we are allowing emotions to dictate our faith and reality.
Truth is that this just get worse.
We have to allow our faith and reality to dictate our emotions.
If we do so then our emotions will come into line with the reality.

So let's look at the faith element.
I have no doubt that you have faith in Jesus. I believe you that you believe that Jesus is the son of God who died and rose again for the forgiveness of sins and reconciliation to our Father so that as a result you can come for the throne of God.

Romans 5:1-2
3. The Assurance Provided by the Gospel: The Hope of Salvation (5:1–8:39)
The Hope of Glory (5:1-21)
From Justification to Salvation
1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

Now let's look a Jesus love for you.

On the cross

John 19:28-29
The Death of Jesus
John 19:28-30// Matt 27:45-56 // Mark 15:33-41 // Luke 23:44-49
28 Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.”29 A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips.

That's his love for us.
He died for us.
Hung on that cross for a period of time all our sins were laid upon him.
When he said it's finished and died the temple curtain was broken in two.
That means we could come before God.

Finally to finish as I know I have gone on a bit.
Jesus when praying before his death prayed this.

John 17:23
23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.

Notice GOD LOVES YOU AS MUCH AS HE LOVES YOU, JESUS LOVES YOU AS MUCH AS HE LOVES GOD.

That is the reality.

Stand on the reality, not the emotions.
Ask God to deal with emotions, pray for healing.
He will do it. I know know he will. He did it for me.

LOL. I actually have a very beautiful garden. It contains avocado trees, plum tree, peach tree, lemon tree, fig tree, orange tree, papaya tree and gorgeous plumeria trees that are blooming like crazy!

As for praying in tongues, we've had that discussion already.

Is saying YIKES rude when you make such absurd comments as being 'watered in'? I'm trying to help this woman and you are doing no good.

Cherie

God loves you and Jesus wont turn anyone away. No matter what sin youve done, He can forgive. He wouldnt have died and rose again if it was not possible to pay for anyones sin. He does ask you to believe and you do. So accept His forgiveness. It seems to me maybe you holding back on something?

Jesus was baptised in the river Jordan. Do you all understand why He did this, when He didnt even have to?

Thinking about the comments you make for more than a few seconds is simply not recommended.

He was fulfilling the current law, the current covenant. We are now under a new covenant. We are under grace, not law.

Mostly the last one.
OK so you're not sure that Jesus receives you.

Well with that we ask the question would Jesus not be sincere to us in his statements?

One thing I've always liked in the way Jesus talked was when he'd use the word, over and over and over again.....VERILY.

Many times he's even say it twice, as in "Verily, verily I say unto you....."

The sound of the word seems almost poetic but it's not meant to be. It's where we get the word verified, verification, or it is this way and none other! Or it's a guarantee without even a shadow of a doubt, or to say it in a modern way whatever Jesus said we can take it to the bank.

So....what are the things Jesus said? We ask is he honest? Sincere? Would he say one thing and come back and say well no....maybe not for you! I think we know he wouldn't. Well what did he say?

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matt 11:28

And the one who comes to me I will in now way cast out Jn 6:37

So it seems to me Cherie that you'd be a part of ALL in Matt 11:28 correct? If you or me aren't a part of ALL in Matt 11:28 then it'd have to mean we must be from another world for it was to this world that he said that. So....are you open to have me convince you that you're an alien from another planet? Don't think so. Good news then....HE RECEIVES YOU! :)

How do you know you have faith in Jesus? This is a question that has often bothered me. I understand the Bible speaks on the importance of believing on Jesus. Does the Bible tell us how we know we believe?

In my own life I can see my faith in Christ. I’m not sure how I should respond when I have self doubt about the genuineness of my faith.
Cherie,
Bottom line is you must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven. Confess to God that you are a sinner.. not just that you have sinned and you want forgiveness for some sins you committed. Jesus died, not just for the sins you committed yesterday, are committing right now, and will commit in the future. He DIED FOR SINNERS. This is a covering of who and what we are, not just what we have done. If you do not confess to God, repent from you wicked ways, accept Jesus' sacrifice for you, a sinner, you will not be born again and will not be forgiven. There is no ritual (like baptism) that can accomplish this.

Rockson, it's imperative you answer this question!

How many times can a person be saved?
