You bolded it and still didn't read it. Revelation 14:11 says the smoke rises forever, not that the torment lasts forever.

Don't try to change the subject because I have you cornered in a lie. Do you admit that the word forever or eternal is not attached to "they have no rest day or night?"
Where there is smoke there is fire with something to burn.

In the last five or six pages, people are just talking past each other and some name calling.
I did not see any new arguments.

Please Summarize your case in outline form.

Thanks,
Daniel

My summary: Matthew 25:46 eternal means eternal for both places.

That is a lie! Only eternal life is eternal. Eternal punishment is only temporary like about one hour not forever and they will be consumed and they will have rest.

Why in the same passage that happens to the devil is literal and to humans figurative?
First of all it's figurative language. Second, the verse only says the devil will be there forever and ever. It does not say the beast and FP will be there forever and ever nor does it mention any other human being. People are quoting it and saying all people who are cast into that lake will be there alive forever and ever but the verse doesn't say that.

The devil and the unbelievers will have the same fate in the lake of fire because they are all spirits. Unbelievers will have their part in the lake of fire. Spirits cannot die. Angels and humans are spirits that cannot die so they will be tormented forever day and night with no rest. Body and soul can die but the spirit is like fire itself so how can it die in fire?

Hi Tink!

While you are correct in that the devil and his angels will suffer as spirits in the lake of fire, the unrighteous dead will each receive an indestructible resurrected body mete for their punishment in the lake of fire.

None of this is true. Spirits can die, and Devil aren't spirits but they have a spirit.

If the bible tells me they ( unbelievers, rejectors of Christ and the devil and his angels) will receive punishment forever for all eternity until there is no God,then this is what I believe!
He is a God of mercy but the time is NOW, for he is also a God of judgement.
He's judgement is righteous and true.

Behold today is your day of salvation!

God has mercy only on whom he chooses. That's what the Bible says.

Neither the spirits of mankind nor the angels ever die, i.e. become nonexistent. Both the saved and the unsaved will exist forever in their appointed places. Satan and his angels will be tormented day and night forever and ever in the lake fire. No one will be annihilated in the lake of fire.

It is true. Hebrews says Angels are ministering spirits. Jesus said angels cannot die so they will stay in the lake of fire forever.

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Jesus was speaking of heavenly angels not fallen angels. Fallen angels can and will die and be consumed by eternal fire and they will never exist again.

Even the devil will be destroyed so his fallen angels will also.

Heb_2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil ;

Even the devil will be destroyed.

Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
Eze 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

He will be devoured by fire, turned to ashes and shall never exist anymore. That's Annihilation.
