Several years ago, I was given a copy of this picture. It is an attempt by the artist to capture the exact moment a sinner learns that all is lost and there was no further chance for redemption. It is a terrifying picture carrying a terrifying thought.

I was challenged by the Ruach Ha’Qodesh to find its counterpart. To locate a picture of someone who first glimpses their own resurrection and understand where they are going.

If you try, you will find the challenge tougher than you think.

There were a few pictures of men looking into heaven, but not many. Perhaps men are going to hell and only women to heaven?

There were lots of pictures of women entering heaven, most with long billowing hair and flowing gowns.

I would only add, that those who appear at the GWTJ, will have already known where they are going, since prior to being resurrected, their spirits will have been Hades in torment in flame, just as the rich man has been experiencing. So, they will know of their eternal fate as soon as they enter into Hades.

"The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds."

Then I found THE picture, the one that expressed the absolute joy of a faithful follower, the moment they realized what they were becoming and where they were going.

At first, I merely glanced at the picture and passed it by, not recognizing what I had seen. A couple of hours, and a few hundred pictures later, this image inexplicably reentered my awareness. I realized what it was I had seen. It took me several hours to backtrack and relocate the photo.

Here is a picture of a true human, having lived for many years in this world being pummeled by the prince. Her body worn, nearly broken, parts missing. She was bed-ridden, unkempt, semi-conscious; yet suddenly, unexpectedly breaking free and seeing truth for the first time. Everything else melted away. What a moment.

Um...I'm confused. What does that have to do with the expression on a person's face when they see Glory?

Hey, an advantage of living in Australia! We get to know about the end of the world before anyone else (except NZ, but no one cares about the Kiwis).
