Ma'am, animals are not capable of sin. They are created with instinct, not self-awareness.
i said that animals have no sin. that isn't the same as being incapable of sin.

can you show me scripture that shows animals have no self-awareness?
i can show you scripture that demonstrates they do.

ma'am, i'm giving you scripture.
you are giving me your human opinion and other human opinions.
so which one of us is '
believing things just to make themselves feel good' ?

i feel absolutely terrible about this. it means that sinless, innocent souls experience death not because of their own sin, but because of ours. that's not exactly a 'feel-good' truth, but it is the truth.
your opinion, on the other hand, is very reassuring. you can feel nothing towards all the other living souls because you tell yourself it's meaningless, that God only created them in order to destroy them. you can smash a racoon with a shovel and have no remorse, because of the opinion you have.
I also have chipmunks and lizards in my backyard. Mourning doves have also built nests and had babies in my garden.

Is this a joke? You think animals are capable of sin? I honestly don't even know what to say to you anymore. I'm moving on with my life. This is a pathetic waste of time.

So, cockroaches have a spirit? Everything that God created to live is alive.
yes, they are living souls. that's how God describes them.

And God said,
Let the earth bring forth the נפש חיה after his kind,
cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind:
and it was so.
(Genesis 1:24)
'creeping thing' is how the Hebrew describes insects.
נפש חיה = "nephesh chayyah" = living soul
exactly the same phrase as Genesis 2:7.

your English Bible is wrongly translated. go look it up and see if what i'm saying isn't true

it doesn't matter if you like it.
your opinion and your preferences were not polled.
what matters is that this is the truth, whether you can believe it or not.

if you think they are incapable of sin then why do you say God destroys them?
that is describing a wicked and unjust God.

It is appointed once for a man to die and then faces judgement. What happens to those poor little cockroaches? Do they face God in judgement?

ONLY HUMANS ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD AND HAVE ETERNAL SPIRITS. I'm not even going to bother posting Scripture about this because this is Scripture 101.

they have no sin - what would they be judged for?

that's your opinion and nothing more.
you have not appealed even to a single verse.
if you have scripture saying only humans have spirits, give it.
you gave human commentary, that's all.

i gave you the Bible, and you rejected it.
the Bible calls animals souls, the Bible says animals have the same spirits men do, the Bible says people are animals and are no different.

everyone reading this can see that.

Oy Vey. Goodbye.
it is not a 'good' departure when you reject scripture in favor of your vanity.
if that is what you think, then you do not know what goodness is.

you leave by your own choice because you cannot bear to hear the truth.
i am not driving you away; i am giving you the truth.

i physically killed a colony of yellow-jacket wasps in my yard last week.
i cannot kill their souls. i cannot destroy their spirits; i separated their spirits from their bodies. that's physical death.

i felt awful about it, but they were a danger to my family. my wife is allergic and already suffered 3 stings. that's physical-life-threatening, for her. i can't let them live in her proximity. their home can't be in my yard.

i exercised dominion. that's what our being made 'in the image of God' means: we have authority over the other living souls.
it doesn't mean i'm better than them: in fact i'm worse; i sin and they don't. they know their Creator and i forget Him.
it only means God has placed me in a seat above theirs.

Not to worry my friend, hornets are very dangerouse. i go into severe shock from wasp and hornet stings, my limpnodes swell up and i struggle to breath, as for the cockroach it was allmost on its a way into my bedroom, i didnt want to kill it but was scared it could make me ill, my younger sister nearly died from illness caused by cockeroaches.

I once saved a bumble bee who was drowning in water, it was amazing to see the life return to it, to hear its emotions and see the life return to it when it was almost dead, it came back and thanked me i think.

Then there was my golden hampster it died in my hands and i saw a flash of jasper light leave my hands.

I knew a woman who was actually seeing a therapist because of her fear of cockroaches.
I can just imagine, especially when they crawl in peoples mouths when there a sleep, how anyone can eat cockeroach sandwiches is beyond me

This is why I sleep with my mouth closed and breathing through my nose. Haha
