So many have this problem Alexander,so do not feel you are alone here. After a while it almost feels that it is a need rather then a bother. At your young age I know it must be very tough! It used to be a temptation, now it is like a need, and that makes one feel even worse,as they see no way out. BUT!!! There is a way out!!!

Paul knew the many problem which can come into our head, and here is what he wrote about this.( 2Cor 10:1-8) This my good brother refers back for us to have the need of self control.( 1 Cor 9:23-27) verse 27!! No one needs to shame you,for who among us is without fault? No stones in my pocket bro!! What this is in reality is coveting. We walk and use our eyes everyday, and we see what we need and want, but cannot have, and so we go to take out the burning in some other fashion.

The more one entertains this thought in ones head, the more likely you are to preform the action associated with it. And so we need self!!! control!!! Instead of giving your flesh what it wants, give what your Spirit needs instead, read the Bible, anything in it,to take your mind off of your flesh, this takes practice bro!! It took me a while to get the hang of it,but I hate my flesh, and I will not have it ruling my mindset anymore!!

That is the mindset to have bro!! The Lord knows your heart, and he loves us in spite of our lacks. To help you consider this peace which God gave me,and many others.( Phil 4:7-9) Feed Holy Spirit in you rather then the flesh.Notice it takes practice!! verse 9! But you will win in the end,IF!!!! you stay in practice rather then giving in. The Love of Jesus be with you always brother!! My this help you in our race to win in Jesus Word and name!! NEVER give up!!! NEVER quit!! We are here to pick up each other so that we all can win this race together!! AND!!!! WE WILL!!! Period! Blessing!

What Christians will not do, however, is engage in repeated or habitual sin (1 John 3:6). One who engages in deliberate and habitual sin is simply proving that he does not know Christ and therefore cannot be abiding in Him even though he may live his life under the vast umbrella of religion and is thought, therefore, by many to be a Christian.

As believers mature in their faith, they will exhibit more and more evidence of their true Christian nature, such as their love for God, repentance from sin, separation from the world, spiritual growth, and obedient living. As Paul told the Romans, the genuine child of God has been set free from sin and has become a slave to God, and the result is eternal life (Romans 6:22).

I once had this problem too. What I did is to stop thinking on it when I had the desire. Try thinking in something aside from porn. For example, in music you like, unless its sexual, in your favourite car, in a beautiful landscape. Or better, read the Bible with attention to expel the demons tempting you. Good done, persevere! End porn!

I have the "not so polite answer". Mods - go ahead and delete it if you like.

Imagine how you would feel if the woman in those images was your future wife, and she was participating in it. Or even a close friend or realitive, perhaps even your future daughter. If you wouldn't want any of them participating in porn, it will greatly change your perspective on the topic.

One quote that changed the whole idea of the way I viewed women (and I would write this down somewhere to keep an eye on)

"If she's good enough to be used, she's good enough to be loved".

Christian of course have varying lines of personal struggles with particular sins even though they are a Christian.Paul even mentioned about the struggle at times with not doing the things he really wants to do but doing the things he does't want to do.
Hebrews 12:1 "talks about throwing off the sin that so easily entangles..."1 John talks about the fact that anyone born of God will not continue to sin...they cannot go on sinning be sure Gods seed remains in them'
Yet the bible says 'John 1:8' that if we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us...and goes on to mention about us confessing our sins...'.
There are areas of our lives where we may struggle to overcome something that has entangled us...some it could be gossiping, another it could be bitterness from being deeply hurt by another, another it could be porn, another it could be an inappropriate sexual fetish they have and struggle to keep their marital bed pure sexually with their Christian spouse.
Many Christians struggle with porn and just because they are struggling with such habitual sins does mean they are not Christian and are not abiding with christ and that they do not know him.Infact it's often that its because they know him are abiding in him that they wanna be free in the 1st place.
The context about a Christian not continuing to sin is meaning just that...A Christian can struggle with a habitual sin yet dont want to stay in that sin and genuinely wants a way out..some it can take months or even longer to finally get the victory with Gods help.Often certain habitual sins have roots in their childhood...or rooted in rejection, loneliness, past hurts ect and it can take time with Gods help to be free.
Some porn addictions can be the same as comfort eating for some and for others the root is a deep craving for intimacy...other it's something else.
Talking from my own experience I can identify with the OP and yet in those times I was a Christian seeking to live for christ.

I struggle the same, sadly 😞 try to keep yourself occupied and happy! Make progress in cool stuff, call a friend, eat chocolate (but not too much!). And try to leave the place where you… you know… when you’re tempted. I hope this isn’t faulty for you, you have my prayers for the best!

Alexander, I applaud your confidence and your search for help. This is a problem that I myself have dealt with. I want to share with you the process that I went through, the one God took me through. When I first came to Christ and sought a deeper relationship with Him, I began simply getting to know about him. I think it was the kindness of God not to bring my current situation up, but He wanted to show me that even with my problems, me having a relationship with Him is not so that he can ix them, but so that he can give me Life! There truly is a difference that even I am still trying to navigate. But there lies the first piece of advice I would like to give you,

Hey Alexander, first of all I would like to applaud you for your search for help here and your willingness to share your story. I know what it's like, because I have dealt with the same thing. I would like to share my ongoing testimony with you as advice that may help you.
First of all, one of the beautiful things about this testimony of mine is that it begins with a relationship with God that was not focused on my addiction to pornography and masturbation. When I went to God in search of a deeper relationship with Himself, God did not bring up my mistakes or the addictions I even wanted to bring up. He just loved me. He let me come to him for Himself and not a solution for my problems. Don't get me wrong, he wanted to help solve them! But remember in your walk that God is not there just to be the solution to your problems, he is there to be your Life, the fullness of it. In the story of the prodigal son it was interesting to me that after the son cursed the Father, squandered his wealth on wrong living, and went back to his house in search of help as the status of a slave, the first thing the Father did when he saw the son was not grind him for cursing him and making a mess of his life. Instead, "his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him." (Luke 15 v.20) The story goes on to recount the father throwing a celebration for his lost son had been found. This is God's heart towards us. Remember this,
1. As your walk in your journey, the sum of your relationship with God will not be your struggle with porn, it will be your discovery and growth as God reveals his character to you. God is there to give you life and more abundantly here, to love you and care for you, and reveal his character to you as your intimacy with him grows. If you make mistakes, know that it is not over. But as God's love is greater than any mistake, God is willing to grace you to continue walking, and along the way, heal you and make you whole and holy.
Recently, God brought to the forefront of my mind the struggle that I myself have had with porn and masturbating. However, the first question he asked me was, "Are you being honest with me?" An interesting question. I had told God and my parents that I didn't want these things. I was scared to admit it. Scared to accept the severity of my heart and my actions. But God drew me in his love to be honest, and I felt an incredible release and peace in me at that moment. Saying to God, "I really want these things. If it wasn't for you, I'd probably be doing it now. But I know it's wrong. I know you don't want me to do this. Please help me with my desire, and my mind so I can do what you want in this." Herein lies my next piece of advice to you,
2.God invites you to be honest about the darkest parts of yourself. Perhaps the parts you don't want to admit. He wants you to tell him. So then you can fully realize the extent to which you need help, and further more the strength God has to rescue you from even there. There is a beauty in honesty. That God won't ignore the deep dark parts. He loves you so much to touch even there, and heal you.
Last of all, the last thing God has left me with, is to trust and obey. I honestly did not like this part the most out of all of them. But there is a scripture that helped me with this. It's in Jude 1: 24-25 and it says, "Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen." This command to trust and obey also came with an invitation to REST in the Love of God. When you actually begin to fight your desire, it takes nothing less than God to fight them. It's that bad, but God is that strong. And He will win that battle for you. The reason why any Christian was not crippled by their path of sin was because God was keeping them from "falling away". God will keep you from falling away. Just,
3.rest. Rest in the love of God and his desire to see you set free more than you desire to see yourself free. He is the only one who can keep you standing upright. The only thing he asks you to do in this, is that when he gives you the opportunity to do so, you trust and obey. And I can't stress this last part enough, when it is hard to obey him. When you are confused and hesitant to do so, realize you can be honest with God about that too! His kindness and grace are also there to help you win that battle. There was a quote I listened to by Jackie Hill Perry. She said, "You need God to obey God." At the core of everything here is the importance of God in our lives and in our fights.

Get close to him, be honest with him, trust, rest and obey him. Let this be the first step in your freedom from this.

One last thing, I have been knee deep in this struggle for the past 10 years. And I am 17 turning 18 later this year. I have 10 years of images, videos, thoughts, feelings, and desires I have to fight through. I don't know how long it must be for you. But I want to let you know that I am still fighting. Losing sometimes, winning some. But regardless, God always comforts me with his Love. And reminds me that HE is my story, not porn or masturbation. It might take us a while to be completely free. But God looks at not the appearance, but the heart. What God wants is that our heart posture reflect all I listed above for long enough in order for him to move.

I hope this encourages you. And helps you keep going, bro.
