You are welcome! I hope you come to know Jesus personally, through the love God has for you :)

I've known him for 20 years, personally and he led me to see through the Word, That hell is an event that destroys the body and soul, delivers up hades and death and is the Second Death. These were the words of Jesus. Why would he say that, if it wasn't true. Hell is not a place of perpetual torment, Jesus did not teach this.

@Sakla, there are Christians who share your belief concerning hell not forever and Christians who believe it is forever for those who reject Jesus. To be honest, for me it sounds scarier to be snuffed out of existence.

...in essence. we send ourselves to hell. if that is where we end up. We can't blame God. He offered us a way of redemption. We rejected him.
I also view that those who Reject God's GRACIOUS Offer of HIS SON, Who Met
God's
Just Demand For The Penalty of sin, will All, on that final Judgment Day,

Admit To HIM, that they "received What they JUSTLY Deserved!"
The Bible Does Say:

Isa 45:22-24
22 Look unto ME, and be ye Saved, ALL the ends of the earth:
for I AM God, and there is none else.
23 I have Sworn By Myself, The Word is gone out of My Mouth In
Righteousness
, and shall not return, That Unto ME every knee shall bow,
every tongue shall swear.
24 Surely, shall one say, in The LORD have I righteousness and strength:
even To HIM shall men come; and all that are incensed against HIM
Shall Be Ashamed.

{saying "God Is ONLY love," Denies [incensed AGAINST HIM?]
HIS Other Attributes Of HOLINESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS, JUSTICE,
And HIS "
Divine Wrath!"}

Rom 14:11 For It Is Written, As I Live, Saith The LORD, every knee
Shall bow To ME, and every tongue Shall confess To God.
Rom 14:12 So then every one of us Shall Give Account of himself
To God.

Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess
That JESUS CHRIST Is LORD, To The GLORY Of God The Father.

Thus all of the saved, AND ALL of the UNsaved are going to give
ALL THE GLORY To God, Despite false doctrines of SELF-salvation
and Annihilation, Correct? Amen.

Is Jesus Almighty God?
Precious friend, JESUS Is Almighty God, will Either be admitted in this life,
{all below}, OR At The FINAL JUDGMENT Of Almighty God! {see # 13 below...}:

What Saith The Pure And Holy Written WORD Of God, The SCRIPTURES?

The First 13 { of 150+ } SCRIPTURAL “Reasons” {Evidence!}

JESUS CHRIST Is Almighty God:

1) God Was Manifest In The Flesh! (1 Timothy 3 : 16)
JESUS CHRIST Was Manifest In The Flesh! (John 1 : 14)

2) JESUS CHRIST Is EMMANUEL
interpreted = God With us!" (Matthew 1 : 21-23)

3) The SON, JESUS CHRIST Is Called
God, By HIS Own Father! (Hebrews 1 : 8)

4) JESUS CHRIST Is Called
The Great God And Saviour! (Titus 2 : 13)

5) JESUS CHRIST Is Called
The Mighty God! (Isaiah 9 : 6 cp Jeremiah 32 : 18)

6) JESUS CHRIST Is Called
The True God And Eternal Life! (1 John 5 : 20)

7) JESUS CHRIST Is Over All, God,
Blessed For Ever. Amen! (Romans 9 : 5)

8) ALL the angels of God Worship HIM!
(Hebrews 1 : 6), therefore, It Is
Impossible
for JESUS CHRIST to be = “Michael the archANGEL!”

Therefore, All The Evidence In The Pure And Holy WORD Of God
Plainly And Clearly Teaches All
humble students That:

JESUS CHRIST Is God Almighty! Amen?

9) JESUS CHRIST was WORSHIPPED!
(Matthew 2 : 11, 14 : 33, 28 : 9; Luke 24 : 52)

Not once did JESUS Say, "See thou do it not,"
as "an angel NOT to be worshipped," spoke
in Revelation 19 : 10, And, 22 : 8-9!

Since ONLY The LORD God is to be worshipped!

(Exodus 34 : 14; Psalms 29 : 2, 45 : 11, 86 : 9, et al;
Matthew 4 : 10; Luke 4 : 8; Revelation 22 : 9):

Holy SCRIPTURE Clearly Teaches us JESUS CHRIST Is God!

10) Every knee shall bow, and "every tongue"
shall confess to GOD! (Romans 14 : 11; Isaiah 45 : 21-23).

The GOD "every tongue is confessing to,”
Is The LORD JESUS CHRIST! (Philippians 2 : 11)

11) JESUS CHRIST Is Called The SAVIOUR!
(Luke 2 : 11; Acts 5 : 30-31, 13 : 23; Titus 1 : 4, 2 : 13)
(2 Peter 1 : 1, 11, 2 : 20, 3 : 18, 1 John 4 : 14)

ONLY Jehovah God ALONE Is The SAVIOUR!
(Isaiah 43 : 3, 11, 45 : 15, 21; Hosea 13 : 4; Luke 1 : 47)
(1 Timothy 1 : 1, 2 : 3, 4 : 10; Titus 1 : 3, 2 : 10, 3 : 4; Jude 1 : 25)

Therefore, JESUS CHRIST Is God!

12) JESUS CHRIST Forgave sins! (Matthew 9 : 2; Mark 2 : 5)
ONLY GOD Can Forgive sins! (Mark 2 : 7)

Pure And Holy SCRIPTURE Teaches us (Titus 2 : 13):

JESUS CHRIST Is The Great God, The
Only Saviour Who Can Forgive sin!!

If we Deny HIS Deity, how can HE FORGIVE us our sins?

After all, It is Only God's OWN BLOOD (Acts 20 : 28 KJB!),
That Has Power To "CLEANSE us From ALL sin!" Amen?

And, Finally, WHO Is God, The JUDGE Of All?

13) God Almighty Is The JUDGE Of All!

And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest
them which do such things, and doest the
same, that thou shalt escape The Judgment Of God?…

...But after thy hardness and impenitent heart
treasurest up unto thyself Wrath against
The Day Of Wrath and Revelation Of
The Righteous JUDGMENT Of God! (Romans 2 : 3, 5)

...God The JUDGE of all!...God Will JUDGE!… (Hebrews 12 : 23, 13 : 4)

...Strong Is The LORD God Who JUDGES!... (Revelation 18 : 8)

JESUS CHRIST Is God, Because All The Verses In The Holy BIBLE,
That Talk About GOD Being The JUDGE, Must Refer To JESUS CHRIST,
Since
HE Alone JUDGES! The Father JUDGES no man! (John 5 : 22)

The Father Has Committed All JUDGMENT
To His SON, The LORD JESUS CHRIST!! (John 5 : 22) Why?

"That All men should honour The SON, even as
they honour The Father. He that honoureth not The SON
honoureth not The Father Who Hath Sent HIM!" (John 5 : 23)
-------------------------

JW's, SDA's, Unitarians, And All Dear Readers, do you Really Honor The SON?

Only God Almighty Is The RIGHTEOUS Judge = The LORD JESUS CHRIST!

Precious friend(s) Will you Now... Completely
100% “trust” (believe, place faith in) God:

The LORD JESUS CHRIST, HIS Precious BLOOD, And HIS Resurrection!!

to “Receive Forgiveness Of All your sins”?
and go to The Judgment Seat Of CHRIST
for “rewards,” (1 Corinthians 3 : 8-15)

OR... ?...will you die in UNbelief (trusting in
“religion, religious works, men's false
teachings, Any “Other deeds," or, a Different Jesus, Other Than:

God, The Saviour, JESUS CHRIST, HIS BLOOD, And HIS Resurrection!,

and go to:

The Great White Throne Judgment Of
GOD ALMIGHTY [ JESUS CHRIST ]
and perish in Eternal Condemnation?
(Revelation 20 : 11-15)

Ah, but did he not?

Mark 9:
42 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me [i]to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. 43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 44 where

‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’

45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 46 where

‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’

47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire— 48 where

‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’

I would not wish this on anyone. To be cast to the eternal life. where the worm never dies. Their judgment is eternal.

I do believe All The Words Of The LORD JESUS CHRIST {God},

(1) HIS
Divine Wrath! (Rev 14:9-11)

(2) HIS True And Righteous JUDGMENTS!! (Rev 19:2)

(3) HIS Final Great White Throne JUDGMENT Of
ALL UNbelievers, whose names
were "...NOT found Written In The Lamb's BOOK Of Life!!!" ( Rev 20 : 11-15 )

What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is
whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops. Do not
be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.
Instead,
fear the One Who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

I do not believe Jesus made idle threats :)

I have always been close to God my entire life and the God I know does not plan to torment people who reject him for all eternity. I know what is taught and the scriptures that those who teach this use, can you tell me how a wonderful and loving God would torment forever. Putting something bad to sleep forever and out of its misery, like a dog with rabies, is merciful. Please explain without scripture (because I know the verses well) ...explain by your experience and relationship with God what he revealed to you about this. I don't understand, the God I know is not like this. I do believe there is a judgment and evil people who reject him will not have a good end, but not that way.
To post with out verses is unwise. Has to be written. I will say this.. God will not torment anyone. We all make a choice.. we made that choice not Him. Now I was promised ever lasting life.. those that do not believe in Him reject Him.. were not promised every lasting life. Rev talks about what will happen to Satan and anyone that follows him. They all made that choice not God. He will not can not force anyone to believe in Him.

We as humans are not God and what you want is for someone to make up something to defend our belief? However, the closest correlation I can come up with at the moment is this. There is a parent who has a vast empire. He has three children. Two of the children aren't perfect but dearly love the parent and strive to honor him by abiding by the rules he has set for his household. The third child does not abide by the parent's standards and in fact disavows any ties to his parent. He lives by his own rules and standards which basically may include harming someone else in some way. Now, in the parent's will, he would surely leave an inheritance to his first 2 children but do you think he will leave any of his estate to the third?

Luke 16:23 Context
20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

The God I know does not torment anyone, nor does He punish anyone, ever. Here or hereafter. The Spirit works tirelessly throughout our entire lives to break through our walls and to get into our heart. He never rejects us, we reject Him. At some point we build our sin-walls so high and so thick we can no longer hear; the spirit can no longer penetrate. We torment ourselves, He tries to save us from ourselves.

If we pay attention, we can see this in our own experiences. Our sin becomes stronger and stronger and threatens to overwhelm us. If we don't seek strength outside ourselves we will become irretrievable. We did it, not God.

it is simply the same loving God is also HOLY which means he hates sin. God in his love provided a way to ensure no one goes to the place HE made for the devil and his angels that way is the Lord Jesus Christ. IF you do not come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and repent and accept the free gift of salvation and you die, you go to the place known as Hell why>? Because one rejected the Lord.

God is our heavenly father and is loving, gracious to us through salvation via jesus christ.Yet remember God is Lord and his IS GOD.. and there are facets to his nature that we can ignorant of.He is the lord..the bible says its a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
If there is no eternal consequence for sin for those who reject christ only that they just cease to exist then what would be the point of being saved in the 1st place?
That would mean that God would of sent jesus to suffer and die for the sins of mankind just to prevent us from becoming a non existant entity in space and time.
All sense of self would wiped out..so if this was the case then I personally wouldn't need to bother following the lord as in the end living a sinful lifestyle would only result in me just merely becoming a non existent.
No sorry...you haven't grasped the true reality of sin and judgement and God being lord.
We haven't been saved from becoming a non existent nothingness..
If breaks my heart when I think about the lost and what their future destiny will be if they die without jesus..😭😭😭😭

Because Jesus taught it Matthew 25:46
Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

Yes, the second death is eternal punishment; no coming back from that ;)

Why people refuse to accept and/or reject death as punishment baffles me

The lie at the heart of the corruption of all creation and the fall of man, the lie Satan
told Adam and Eve, is circulating and believed to this day:
"You will not surely die."

Prove it without using the Bible? I personally don't think there's enough evidence to suggest hell is a fully-conscious state of eternal torment. I personally think it's a misinterpretation, or a projection of tradition into the scriptures, to say that people are not eventually annihilated in hell. Turns out there is plenty of Biblical support for this.

Why do I think this? I've studied it and that's the conclusion I came to. I am always open to being shown otherwise.

I do think hell is real and brutal, but not eternal conscious suffering. That doesn't rule that hell could possibly last a long time
