Lots and lots of peeps here from the UK so you should feel right at home. Christianity is more of a service rather than being served. Happy that you became a Christian recently. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Welcome. Answer to your query - everything! Fundamentally, God gives us new life in Christ. It is like a seed planted within us, it needs to grow. If you will spend time with God and in His word, ask Him to reveal Himself to you, He will cause the seed to grow. Think of prayer and study as water and light. A plant needs both to flourish. It won't always be easy but it is always worthwhile.

Welcome to cc @mbjones, may the lord bless you and keep you :)
.

The best thing i like about christianity and what it can do for me, is bring me peace, hope, love.
comfort. hope and peace in the fact that i will be rejoined with my loved ones in heaven.

christianity can bring a pure heart and a steadfast spirit. and peace of mind. joy when we sing to each other from the heart and to the spirit, joy when we speak to each other in psalms. :)

Welcome but please take in the scripture that Jesus came not to be served but to serve, and give His life for many. He modeled how we are to live if we are truly his.
He is not Santa Claus

You will come to see the world through His eyes, and have His compassion as you grow.
My favorite ministry to grow quickle and powerfully is John G. Lake ministries, jglm.org, I have yet to take in a teaching or service from them that wasn't valuable.
This is the first teaching I took in and acted on from them, he gives his testimony at 30 minutes in session 2, I immediately experienced seeing miracles and increased power from my ministry, you will as well.
Every act Jesus manifested is available to every beleiver, He sai so. "And greater works that these shall they do, because I go to the Father".

to find out more about what Christianity can do for me.
There may be a cost associated with it in the short run, but it will pay off in the long run. Just keep your eyes on the prize.

A warm welcome to CC, my brother. Just trust our Lord and Savior. He knows what is best for us.

1 John 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

Hebrews
12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
