Are you running after the wealth or it is the wealth that is coming on you and following you wherever you go?

• “A good man leaves an inheritance to his sons' sons, and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.” (Pro 13:22).

The wealth of the wicked will go to the hands of those who pleases the Creator:

• “He who increases his wealth by interest and unjust gain, he shall gather it for him who will pity the poor.” (Pro 28:8)
• “This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the inheritance of cruel men which they shall receive from the Almighty. Though he heaps up silver like the dust, and prepares clothing like the clay, he may prepare, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.” (Job 27:13,16,17).
• “For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.” (Ecc 2:26).

On the other hand, for those whom hear Jesus’ voice to do all His will, they didn’t need to worry about resources, nor they need to strain to keep them safe:

• “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.” (Deu 28:1,2).

So, if you are going through some financial problem, can be sure: there is something in your relationship with the Creator that needs to be review and fixed.

After all, He promised:

• “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Mat 6:33).
• “Give us this day our daily bread.” (Mat 6:11).

The problem is that, most of the times:

• we are seeking our kingdom and hoping that our standard of justice can be recognized and followed;
• we crave for more than the daily bread (we yearn for the bread of many, many years forward).

Nevertheless, if we delight in Jesus’ company (Ps 37:4) and stay in His purport, everything will cooperate for our well-being (including our enemies – Prov 16:4).

So, have a good day abiding by Jesus’ commandments and allowing His goodness and mercy reach you (Ps 23:6) so that Jesus can bless a thousand generations through you (Deut 7:9).
