Its been years since I have been on this site and have missed it greatly in my life. I am in an emotionally abusive relationship and I am emotionally exhausted. I am sad, depressed and feel worthless. He wont stop being nasty and cutting me down. I feel so selfish asking for this when so many people need so much more and I am blessed in so many ways. I just don't even know if I can keep moving forward

Asking for what? You've not asked for anything.
It says you're not married, so why not ditch the jerk?
Abusers rarely change. If you're expecting any change you'll he waiting a long, long, long time.

"Staying away from the Lord often brings an awakening. I hope
and pray a new awakening brings about what is missing or needed in your life."
'Amen'

Hopefully you're not stuck bc of support reasons and if so, you need to determine how to get out of the bad relationship. Not only is it a waste of your precious time but it's wearing you down.
I don't think anyone would advise you to stay involved with this person. That is not what I call love and you need to get away asap. It may seem a challenging step but it's something you should absolutely do.
Asking for prayer is not selfish, it's welcome among the body of Christ. No prayer is insignificant and I'll pray for you.
Dear Heavenly Father Adonai, We thank You so much for Your love and care toward Your children. We lift up this beloved sister to You @Lostbabygirl1 and ask that You make a way and open doors where she can safely stay among trustworthy people. May You protect her and send Godly friends in her path. May the Holy Spirit lead her into Your will in her life and bless her with Your Truth. May she realize is is a daughter of the Most High God and Jesus loves her so much. Thank You Lord, in Jesus Name Amen. Praise GOD!

Hi! Sis... first, you are not selfish for asking help....I am glad you came here and shared with us your your pain and hurt....

Please, emotional abuse is wrong....abusing someone emotionally is not a behaviour of a person walking in fellowship with the Lord Jesus...I know I am not in the right position to say this but as a sister in Christ It makes me feel sad that there are sisters like you who is suffering from this kind of abuse... It hurts me to think also that what if one of my sisters are suffering the same but they have chosen to stay quiet about it and suffer more in the hands of their abusers 😔

Separate from this person...though I believe God can change him...he needs God to let work in his life first...you need to break off the relationship before this person will hurt you physically...You are worthy of love and respect...you don't deserve a man who continually throwing insults at you...find courage to stay away from this person...you can't change him by staying and taking and accepting all his nasty words...only God can change Him...reach out to your family...friends your pastor you sister's in Christ...you need trusted people in your situation right now...I am sure they would be happy to help a family or a sister in need of strength ,support and encouragement...dont hesitate they are probably waiting for you already...

Father I pray for my sister here who is suffering from emotional and verbal abuse... Please remind her that the nasty things thrown at her by that person were/are not true...remind her that she is worthy of love, honor and respect and Help her to stand strong and give her the courage to leave and put it her heart and mind that she is not being selfish to do this...In Jesus ! Amen ❤
