Your enemy who you may remember who Jesus called the father of lies, Loves to try and rob you of the joy and confidence of your salvation, in fact since Jesus stripped him of his authority through his victory over death, Lies are the only remaining weapon in the devils arsenal.
The only way Satan can rob you is to get you to use your own God granted power and authority against yourself by getting you to believe a lie.
What you believe or miss believe has an enormous impact on your quality of life and circumstances.
One of the most common of theese lies is the notion that you should live in ongoing fear of Gods Judgment. That God may become so annoyed with your mistakes and failing, that he may eventually abandon you or reject you all together. or at mininmum that God still waits to pounce on you in condemnation and punishing wrath.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Jesus made it clear, when you repent of your sins and place your faith in him you are forever his and nothing, including your own frailty and fallibility, can remove you from his hand. You have passed from death to life and out of the fear of judgement forever. That holy fire fell completely on our lord at Golgotha.
