Liberals are all for the separation of Church and State until the Church does something they detest.

They also look the other way when they force complete obedience to Wokism.

To them, this cult of theirs is wholly immune from the so-called "wall of separation."

they think they have the moral high ground.

that allows them to overlook anything in the name of progressiveism, justice and equality.

oh, make no mistake, liberals think that they are the most morally correct and upright among us.

just see them as thinking in those terms, and observe what they say and do.

you will see the arrogance dripping from them.

Its an effort to discredit the church. The abortion loving creatures cannot have any faith and also support their evil agenda. The liberal lemming voters will be unable to understand why their social justice heroes should be denied communion with Christ even though they have no knowledge of Christ. Christianity will be deemed evil. Its just the beginning folks.

Christianity will probably be illegal in the u.s. in the coming 10-15 years.

Well the fact that looters were allowed to loot during the covid farce yet in some places churches werent allowed to meet is an indicator that you may well be correct.

I could definitely see things going the way of China.

You have a state approved Marxist (read: woke) Christianity and an outlawed, underground Church.

Christianity will probably be illegal in the u.s. in the coming 10-15 years.

I've seen the dripping arrogance (laugh)

the perverseness..

But they are pushy and IMO Christians need to also be pushy for Jesus. That said, we have to choose our battles. Getting slapped by some disgruntled leftie bc you don't do the woke thing.. well, we can do without that kind of battle.. but people need to be writing their Congress members and protesting all this perversity... (teaching our children that being gay is a-ok and etc..)

The reason "we" are failing is because.. partly bc.. well, hate to insult anyone, but some Christians don't REALLY, REALLY believe...

They have been brainwashed by the libs into thinking... maybe not that being gay is ok but brainwashed into thinking "it doesn't concern me"

Well, the messages sent YOUR children should concern you... and the decline in morals and all that goes with it should concern us all

Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu accuses Catholic Bishops of hypocrisy, 'dares' the Church to deny him Communion (msn.com)

Normally, I don't like msn

but I didn't find anything from Fox (yet) or some other more reliable source...

In any case... birds of a feather..
But what is the actual Biblical reason to deny some communion? I'm looking for something that is stated within the context of communion (Lord's supper) that says when someone can't take communion and why.

What I get from scripture is if non belivers take communion its a bad thing. Which is what protestant churches with open communion Ive been to adhere to. They dont refuse it to anyone that ive seen.

because it is the Real Body of Christ, that's why

and Christ does not want to live in a sin-filled, unrepentant body... Reference 1 Cor 11:23

also See: Eucharistic miracles (if you do not believe the Eucharist is really Christ)

Ted Lieu is probably a bigger hypocrite than any Catholic bishop. Too bad the Catholics have not set up a Washington, D.C. Inquisition for the likes of Biden, Pelosi, and Lieu (and many others). Let's hope the bishops follow through.

Just read that 2/3 of the church hierarchy voted to define communion. Will be interesting to see what the pope does.

The Inquisition (Spanish and other) has always gotten a bad rap. The truth is, a lot of accused persons CHOSE to be tried by the Inquisition Courts. They knew they'd get a better deal than w/...

surprise, surprise.. the government

how did they define it?

I hope it was according to orthodox Catholic doctrine (dogma)

Why do I worry?
